I've done 3600words of my essay - just the conclusion to go, am very, very happy;) I'm sure it's not my best work, but it's going to pass....it's not that bad:D
So, conclusion tomorrow, then will read through it all and check it, then hand in on Tuesday...only a week later than everyone else:p
Off for a WW mini pizza, oven chips and little glass of red.:TI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Today is a horrible old wet day - my poor dd2 in a tent;) Bless her, hope it dries up for tomorrow.
Nothing much happening here today. I've done some ironing and going to attempt to finish the essay soon, after another cuppa:)
60p on the scratchcards...Asda shopping coming this afternoon - my guide price was over £100....eeek:eek:, but...that's me meal-planned for 2 weeks and will have enough meat, drinks, tins etc for the week after that too. Will hopefully be just top up shops until the end of the month and then I'll do another big shop for next month...that's the plan anyway:p
Off to sit with my tea for a while, then some work.
Have a good day!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Good luck with finishing the essay! I am taking this tuesday off my AAT course to be able to pick DD1 up from her first day at new school so no studying for me until next week!Orange Fairy

I'm being a bit dippy probably....what's AAT? Is that what you're studying for?
I've finished the essay - just printed it out and going through it, checking bits here and there. Rather pleased it's pretty much done;) Just got to type out the references then I'll hand it in on Tuesday. Now need to think about the next one...arghhh:eek: Might help if I understood the title, it's very long winded!
Been dry here this afternoon, just a bit chilly, so hopefully dd2 not too damp;) Forecast is good for tomorrow, fingers crossed!
Aaaaaah to your dd starting at her new school this week...is it Y1 she's currently in? That's the year group I work in....lovely age!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Littlekel - I have another year too...think I'm mad doing it sometimes;)
Just checked banking and £165 has gone in from tax credits...hmmm. I usually get them on a Thurs, so unless it's this Thursday's money gone in early....tis about the same amount I get on thursdays. Or....I let them know about that last years income was a bit lower than I'd told them befroe - maybe a back payment. Very nice if so:p
Been to town this morning with DD1, but didn't get my sister's bday present...arghh. All I bought was 2 reduced nail varnishes, pepsi and pasties for dd1, pot of tea....exciting! But, I did return some bits to Next and M+S...so have £50 of refunds to come back - what a good trip to town to come back better off:rotfl:
Off to pick up DD2 soon, my friend's driving - her car's bigger and she knows the way, I'm hopeless! Later will just be tidying up, doing dinner, sorting dd2's manky bag of clothes...and early to bed as I'm going to work tomorrow:TI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Day at home today, gave college a miss:o
In my defence, I have cleaned out the goldfish (he can see now!), got a washing out on the line, taken down lounge curtains and washed them too, they're on the line. Still got some mildew stains on the back where the windows had condensation in the winter...don't know what to do to get that out beyond washing:(
Was back at work yesterday, which was good - although I was shattered when i got in and slept at 2 for an hour:D DD2 went to guides last night and was sooo tired when she got in last night, especially after her weekend away so were all in bed by 9.30...lovely.
Postie's brought lots of stuff today - 2 body butters I ordered from Body shop for £12, bargain...one for me, one maybe for a gift. A lovely skirt I won on ebay arrived - I loved it last year in the shop but wasn't paying about £30 for it. A dvd for DD2 of 'The Wiz' as they're doing it for end of year/primary production...£3 that was. Birthday pressies for my 2 from my dad in the US, eldest's 13 this weekend and dd2's 11 in 3 weeks. busy busy.
NSD today - all I need to do lster is take girls to the dentist, then straight home. Girls have sausages and mash for dinner, I'll probably have some stuffed pasta and tom sauce from the freezer. I weighed in today and have only lost 0.75lb this week - so bang on 9st7 now....might do it again in the morning as was feeling very bloated and yuk this morning, the scales were up and down over the space of an hour!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
And meant to say - essay finished and emailed to my tutors yesterday morning:beer::beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0

I love good post like that. I got the King Charles Cavalier soft toy for my cousin today through the post. They lost their dog this year and this teddy looks just like her! I budget £10 for my cousins birthday but this was a little over at £14 though i have a cousin in July who i have saved a make up set from xmas for. So a tenner saved there already!!
I just thought i had an NSD but then remembered i bought sausages from the butchers!!!
Have a good evening Milly xOrange Fairy
