Regaining my sparkle! Milly's diary part 2

Hi Milly, I feel guilty now as I have just had chocolate lol for breakfast!! and you have lost weight. And you have sorted your Eon bill and I've just ignored mine so I REALLY need to put in my readings so I can see what damage our awful weather has done to the finances.
Good luck with the essay, I try to look at it in chunks ie an introduction, the body and an ending and usually I do the introduction and then the ending first lol and then start on the body once I know where the essay is starting and ending if that makes sense...might sound stupid but it works for me.
Have a good day, I am going to try and get my rear in gear and get something worth while done!0 -

E-On did email me the other day asking for meter readings - I'd have forgotten otherwise:) I was pleasantly surprised with my bill, as I was off work all of Jan and Feb so the heating was on an awful lot:eek: But, better than I expected - didn't think my dd would go down - all good though;)
I'm feeling quite motivated today afetr my good start - going to put my face on and dry my hair then get summer stuff down from the attic, I want to get some stuff on ebay asap while people are thinking of summer clothes:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oh come on Milly what are you doing to me...ebay now  you're sapping the motivation out of me lol

Seriously still done nothing since I posted
I'm so rubbish.
Right I am off to shower then see if I can motivate myself to do something (not sure what but something!).0 -

Hi Milly, just saw your thread on the diaries and thought I'd check in and see it, and the above quote is exactly how I feel! Although hoping its not going to be reoccuring! Stomach feeling better this morning but did have a shocking headache last night & when I woke up, pain particularly centred around the bridge of my nose!
Ok just had to share, am off to start your diary now, good luck with that essay - not easy when you have a poorly child to look after as well xDF as at 30/12/16

Hiya DNMS - welcome to my diary;)
DD2's ok again now - I think she just had some bug that had been around at school, couldn't quite shake it off, but now after nearly 2 weeks off school she's good again:) Hopefully it won't reappear once she goes back to school:o
She's in Year 6 too at school and had so much SATs preparation from the school - be glad when they're ouit of the way - not long now.
Have a really good rest and look after yourself....something I'm not good at, I like to be doing things, not lying in bed;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
10 items are on Turbolister and ready to upload to ebay tomorrow night - like to list on Thursday to get 2 weekends on there and end on Sunday night;)
Had an NSD today, not left the house. I photographed quite a few bits for ebay, after ironing it all..grrr. Maybe tomorrow I'll list some more and still more to iron and take pics of.
I have a doc appt in the morning....maybe they can chase up the hospital for me. Then have hairdresser for myslef at lunchtime - mustn't forget:rotfl: Nothing much else to do - oh apart from 4000 words on cognitive development theorists;)
Just made a cuppa and am reading a text book - just for half an hour then bed.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hooray....bids on 2 different ebay things already:beer:
Had a lovely day out yesterday with my sis and her eldest, bought a fair few bits...girls also spent some money. I was tempted into buying some lovely cropped legging things in Next, but luckily they don't fit very well...so they'll go back;) I bought a top in Next with leftover birthday money, sunglasses with my voucher for myslef. Girls got cheap sunglasses in good old Primark (£1!), flip flops - £1 or £1.50, bargains.
They're with their dad until tomorrow now....went last night. I was in bed by 9....shattered:)
I must crack on with my essay today - I'm in desperate need of some motivation:o I knw that once I start I'll be ok....the more of my plan I scribble the more I think I *might* just be able to do it!
Hoping to have completely no spend weekend, it'll make up for spending yesterday. My spending account is looking ok - there's about £15 in there, with £20 of refunds due back in...oh and £18 for the trousers I dont want, but I need to actually get to Next first to return them and doubt that'll be until next week.
All is good ww-wise, so must stick to that and hopefully see a loss on Wednesday.
Ok, washing has just finished in the machine so off to put that out in the sun - looks like a lovely day:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Well, I've spent more of the day at the laptop, hard at work on the essay;)
I'm up to 1400 words - only got to do 4000:rotfl: Am now a little worried though as I've written about most of what i wanted to include....so goodness knows where the other 2500ish words are coming from *need the confuzzled smiley here*
Think it's time to stop now - I have a cold lager to drink and bottle of red that has my name on....only a couple though, still got to crack on tomorrow.
So I did have an NSD - the wine came out of Grocery budget....which is running low incidentally, but reckon I can make it til the end of the month. I have a full freezer so am trying to use up bits from there before i do a big, online shop.
Ok, time to get that washing in and rest....I've earned it:D:D:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oooh cold lager - you've just made me drool Homer style!
Enjoy! 0 -
Woop woop - my student loan has gone in, so I've just paid of the Virgin cc in full - was £1200, now gone!! Paid £100 to Next, left £43 as not sure if includes things I'm waiting to be credited for. The £32 refund from E-On appeared too, so popped that in the girls club money account.
I do need to pay the remaining balance of both school trips, DD1's has about £240 left I think and DD2's has £185 - numpty ex has paid £50 out of his half of £340...well done eh??! He says he'll pay his half...in installments, honestly, how useless?! But if I get it that'll be extra for me as I guessed I'd pay the full amounts myslef before he had the money.
So....debt is under £1k now....am very happy with that. I could pay it all off...still have money in savings, but I'm not sure if I'll book a last minute holiday for August - guess that'd depend on my hospital op too, but it'd be lovely. I do have a lovely frined in Cornwall who is desperate for us to visit, so we should do that for a cheap break:D
Anyway, I have some WW soup cooking, smells yummy. DD2 is back later - DD1 staying with her dad tomorrow as she's not back at school til Next Wed. I have a 2week sick note, which I felt bad about but then woke up this morning feeling carp - sore, no energy, the usual....so I know staying off work is right.
Anyway, had to share my excitement at those numbers coming down!!:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0
