Oooooooh - enjoy!:T
It's lovely paying that card off yes - was perfect timing as the 0% period runs out next month. So just the PO card to go - if it's not gone by September I shall use that month's student loan. I'm just hanging on to some money in case I find a cheap holiday in the summer - though not really expecting to:o
Welcome to my diary by the way, I love it when people post....makes me feel that I'm not waffling to myself:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Not posted for a few days as I felt awful from Monday night...booo:( Much better today, it's not so painful, I'm not shuffling about like an old lady.
Waiting for my Asda direct delivery today - I treated us to a new garden table and chairs set - we currently have an old set, dark green plastic, not too stylish:o Asda had a glass topped table with fold up chairs and parasol for £50, cheaper than anywhere else - so ordered that, along with a reclining seat for me for the garden, £15, a dustbin (don't have an outdoor one) and pillows - 2 pack was £9 or 2 for £10, hope they're ok ones!
I'll be able to withdraw from my scratchcard account tomorrow - am on £9.92 today, so one more 10p and I'm there:beer: I also claimed a £10 Amazon voucher from a survey site and have treated myself to some paperbacks, coming tomorrow.
Just made a meal plan for next week and written the shopping list for it. Don't need that much as DD2's on guide camp next weekend and DD1 with her dad. Was planning on doing a big Asda shop in the middle of next week but think I'll hold on til the week after, maybe have it come on bank hol Monday so we'll be stocked up for that week.
I've been working on clearing the freezer, use up things that get to the bottom of the drawers and forgotten about! Looking a bit more roomy in the freezer now, ready to stock up soon.
Not much else to report - need to crack on with Uni work, I saw my tutors tomorrow and I'm going to apply for deferment, giving me until August to hand it all in, can always carry into the next year if I really need to. Bit of a relief - they've told me to forget a couple of the assigments for now, can catch up with those eventually. SO got this essay to finish then start another one - bigger one:eek:
Right, time for another cuppa. Washing's out on the line, house could do with a tidy, but not feeling particularly enthusiastic about doing that, funnily enough:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hey Milly
Glad you are feeling a little better.
Good news about your assignments - at least you don't need to stress too much about them now.
Woohoo on the scratchcard account- i really need to look into doing this. It put me off when one i looked at asked for a copy of my bank statement.
You definitely deserve the new books!
Better check on the new things thread - haven't been on yet!
I hope you are feeling okay xOrange Fairy

Withdrew £10 from scratchcard site today:beer:
But....I then went and bought GHD straighteners for £92:eek: They do come with a free bag though, worth £15:rotfl: I've been eyeing them up for ages but never would spend that much. But, I spent so long trying to tame my hair yesterday that I gae in. the reviews of the GHDs all say they straighten hair really easily and quickly, and it lasts....so it might save me time and effort. Little treat I guess, out of my loan - seeing as I paid off the cc and paid for DD1s trip...something for me eh?!;)
Not much else - cleared out my grocery account yesterday as went to Tesco - but what I bought should last into next week, and well into May's budget. i will need a big shop by then, will do an Asda online one and stock up.
DD2's on a guide trip today to London, DD1 in bed and wont get up:p Got my mum, sister and 2 niece's coming today - Mum's doing the garden:T
OK, time to attempt to rouse dd1 again:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Morning:p
Bit of a headache today - maybe it was the half bottle of rose I consumed last night:o
Had a lovely day with my sis and her 2 youngest here, Mum busy doing my garden, bless her. It's looking a lot tidier now - can't wait to get some pots of flowers and veg out there, brighten it up. I have some seeds on my windowsill - radishes, tonatoes, cucumbers and lettuce - I'm getting very excited watching them appear:p
Not going out today so it will be an NSD. All I bought yesterday was a carton of juice for my niece as we watched my DD1 at gym, then I bought my friend a bottle of wine as she had my DD2 overnight on Friday and took her to the Guide trip at 7.50 yesterday morn, oh and she cut her hair for me;)
Just cooking sausgaes for the girls - none for me, I had a sneaky weigh in and it's showing as 2lb off, which I'm pleased with as stayed the same on Wed. So a good day today - cereal for brekkie, pitta and coleslaw for lunch and minced beef wellington with new pots and green beans for dinner - no snacks today, had a few yesterday!!!
Nothing much else to report. must get the essay done too - as it's raining here maybe I won't be tempted to laze in the garden with my book:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
mmmmm minced beef wellington sounds pretty darn good!!!
Glad you enjoyed your day yesterday with your family.
Woohoo to NSD. I have done 13 when i wanted to do 12 or more and i have another 5 days left - i reckon another 2 wouldn't be to ambitious!!
I am dreading my weigh in tomorrow - i started off so well and then it went down hill. I have felt so tired this week so have got up later each morning and so haven't exercised before the kids are up. If i exercise then i am usually pretty good for the rest of the day as i don't want to ruin that mornings hard work!!!!
Well done on your progress! xOrange Fairy

Well done on your progress! x
It's a Jamie Oliver recipe - from his Ministry of Food book but you can get the recipe from his website. Dead easy to make and looks very impressive when cooked. My 2 love it! One big one will do us tonight and enough left for girls to have it on Tues night too - it's one of our faves now, but not much for me 'cos of the pastry:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0
