My NSD didn't last long - DD2 needs all of her Brownie/Guide badges sewn onto her Guide blanket for camp next weekend. I only had black cotton with didn't look nice on the blue-edged badges, so I nipped out and bought lots of cotton and more needles. I've sewn on 15 badges - 22 to go:rotfl: Not now though, my fingers hurt!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0

:rotfl::rotfl: Funnily enough, no!!!
I finished it eventually, hours that took, but what a good job I've done;)
Dinner was fab, it's a lovely meal. Sat with the laptop now, will do girls some pud soon then going to watch Come Dine with me at 8 and bed at 9. DD1's off to the ex in-laws for the day tomorrow, she's back at school on Wed. I have some ironing I really should do tonight but am shattered:o Probably just get a school shirt for DD2 ironed and do the rest another day:p
ooooh, I have 9 or 10 items on ebay finishing tonight. All but one have watchers and 5 have bids....exciting!!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
guess the sewing badge will be the next one she does.
Ironing is never something one should do especially when you're tired. there's always something more pressing than the iron.0 -
Nothing much going on here....DD2 is off on Guide camp tomorrow and DD1's with her dad until Sunday.
Asda shopping is coming on Sunday - it should last us for 2 weeks, I've ordered about £100 worth:eek: But stocking up on drinks, toilet rolls, beer;) - should only need bread, milk and fruit for a while after this lot.
I have a sick note for next week recommending I work part-time...makes it easier if the doctor recommends it, rather than me having to go and ask:p
My essay is coming on - I've done 3100 words, need 4000, but can go 10% over or under so i can hand it in at 3600 words really;) Will hopefully get it finished tomorrow. Taking DD2 to camp for 10, then have until Sun eve to myself.
Money....I went and treated DD2 and I to a takeaway tonight seeing as DD1 was out;) But....they sent (and charged me for ) 2 portions of chips, only wanted 1, also my chicken kebab came as just chicken in a pitta:( I said no sauce, but kind of assumed salad would be in it - what a waste of £13. Oh well.....
I need to pay my friend £20 for DD2's trip in a limo on the last day of term(last day of primary, ahhh), so will get that out of the bank tomorrow. DD1 and I are going to nip into town on Monday - I need to get my sister a birhtday pressie for next week. Not much, she's already having some goodies from my Body Shop stash:)
Time to check we have all of DD2's camp stuff ready and get an early night:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Onwards with the essay today:T
Just got back from dropping DD2 at Guide camp...aaah bless her, I'll miss her this weekend:o Looked so little, her and her friend, with all the big guides! She's 10 though, will have a fab time, been looking forward to it for months - just hope it stays reasonably dry for them!!
I've put a washing on - hoping it will get out on the line:) Quickly hoovered the lounge and kitchen/diner - can't relax if the floor's yukky. Got black tiles in the kitchen and they show every single speck - really not good!
I've given my friend the £20 for the end of school limo, and took out £180 to pay off dd2's Isle of Wight trip, that'll be it paid then! £100 was from my clubs account and £80 from savings. Ex has paid £100 in total so far of their trips - his half being £343, so he still has a long way to go....arghhhh!!
Might get started on the essay soon, then I can do what I want. This last bit's the hardest as I've written all that I'd planned...just need more words to fill the word count. Am writing about another theorist but haven't done a huge amount of reading. Want to get more stuff on ebay this weekend too - have taken pics of some and still have ahuge bag sitting in the lounge to sort through...a lot of it might be winging it's way to the jumble:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Meant to add earlier - weight in this week, lost 1.75lb....so I'm now at 9st7.75lb....very slowly getting there;)
AT this rate it'll be July before I hit 9stone, arghhhh:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Ahh, I can only dream of 9 stone 7
Well done Milly
