About to go and get the park and ride bus to the hospital...will be early so I can have a nice cuppa and read my book first;)
Must write my letter to the Uni asking for deferment until August - at least now I know I should get it all done by then (if I pull my finger out!)

nothing exciting happening money-wise - TCs gone in and moved to spends account, some put aside for next month's groceries.

Girls 2 school residential trips paid for (by ME! - no thanks to the ex:o) - so one less thing to worry about. I have £70 left in the grocery budget for the month which won't get used now as I'll be in hospital fron next Thurs, girls with ex mil, then after I get out we'll go to my Mum's, girls might sttay with my sis, so money saved there...but will give my sis money towards feeding my 2!

Anyway, must go tidy up before I go...

The hospital have rung, with a cancellation - I'm being done next Thursday...eeeeeeeek:eek::eek:
I'm releived, but scared, and now got to sort the girls out...plus it's my youngest's birthday a week after i go in, so fingers crossed I'm out for that:(
But - the letter and email worked:beer:

Excellent news milly. I'm sure it won't be easy or pleasant over the next few weeks but look forward to a bright future!

 to your ex not paying his share (again). Perhaps if girls do stay with exMIL she might become even more aware of (financial) position her DS has put you in. While I would never advocate involving children in adult rows, they must be aware how careful you have to be with money and that you have had to pay for these residentials, hope they let it slip:o

    Hi Milly

Have finally caught up on your diary :o you have been busy.

Fantastic news on your op date :j onwards & up to being pain free and feeling better.

Every girl needs GHD's and they are an investment :) DD says that they are the best IHO.

Well done on paying for the girl's trip's even though :wall: has not contributed his share (love that smilie).

Fantastic news for getting on top of your UNI work it cannot have been easy with not feeling 100%.

And finally have just noticed your signature, you must be feeling so pleased only the PO to crack now

    Must remember to keep up

Awww lovely to see you here again Debbie:p
Sorry to hear it'd been tough recently for you ((((hugs)))).
Yep....debt free-dom is coming soon....I could pay the card off now, still got some student loan left, but now I know my op will be done by summer, I'd love to do something with the girls...just a week somewhere, so think the PO card can wait til the new loan money goes in, in September. A hol would be sooooooo needed;)

I've done loads of ironing today - girls have enough school shirts ironed to last til the end of term and sure ex-mil will wash/iron anything if needed next weekend.

Roast dinner is cooking - thought it'd be great to have it out of the way so can relax this evening. Going to make the most of the food as tomorrow night is my last solid food for a good few days:eek:

Hope all having a lovely Sunday:T

    Thankyou Milly.

A holiday away with the girls sounds just the thing that you need after your operation, somewhere nice, sunny & hot, the PO card can wait for a few months as you have done really well with your repayments.

How long will you be in hospital Milly?

Roast dinner sounds delish, enjoy. I am assuming by your post that you cannot eat for 48 hours before your operation.

Chicken curry & rice here for hubby from the freezer.

Slightly off topic I must just tell you this Dave and I are off to Glastonbury :j in June much to his amusement, he wasn't keen to go so I threatened to go on my own . we will be camping  it is something I have wanted to do for years & this year it is my 50th so I thought now or never.

Can you tell I am a little excited :o

Have a good day with the girls

Hope your roast went down well!

Any chance of a sunshine holiday wth family like you had last year??? I think you and the girls need something to look forward to after the op. You'll find the money somehow (who knows ex might pay you back some of what he owes:mad:) and you need the R&R after the horrible few months you've had.

Agree with maman a sunshine break would be lovely for you & the girls, something to look forward to after the crappy 12 months that you have had.

Hope you enjoyed your roast reminds me of the last supper :p

I'll be in hospital up to a week, but usually it's about 5 days for my op...not too bad:)

Yes, no solid food for tomorrow or Wed...booo:o At least tomorrow I can have milky stuff and plain yogurt...but Wed is just clear liquids....not even a nice coffee, arghh:(

And woooohooo to a trip to Glastonbury - bet your hub can't wait:rotfl: It's never appealed to me, just tents in general don't agree with me - I need my bed and straighteners;) Sure you'll have a great time, I'd love to see all the music though, do enjoy watching it on the tv (from the comfort of my sofa!!)

Roast was lovely yesterday, having tortellini and hm tonato sauce...mayb have a couple of meatballs on the side, that's what girls have, I didnt fancy them, love my stuffed pasta!

Hey yes, ex can pay for it:rotfl::rotfl: (If only!!)
I probably will take the girls to Cornwall to stay with my lovely friend who lives there in the summer - she has a 13 yr old too, we don't see them much....years apart. So that's one trip, but I am veryyyy tempted to see if I can get a reasonable holiday to Spain or something....looked about a month ago though and prices were hundreds more than last year:o My sis, bro in law and their 3 are off to Florida to stay with my dad in june though, so it'll be just the 3 of us for a hol in the summer hols if we do....it'd be nice though, I'll need it!!
