Phew! Well, today has been lovely - DD had a doctor's appointment, then we popped over to see a friend who'd only met DD once, so we played, had lunch etc - then I had to rush us back so I could frantically hoover and throw stuff in cupboards before one of DD's friends come round to play :) We had a whale of a time and they wolfed down loads of choccy biccies that DD and decreed were necessary for a good afternoon's play ;)

Managed to get DD in bed, with teeth done, hair reasonable and a nice long story and cuddles before 8:30 - woo hoo!!

Only spent £3.98 today on flowers for first friend and biccies for second, so not too bad.

No more books sold though, I'm so impatient!! But I did find 1p on the floor and have put it in my terramundi (holidays fund).

Can't wait to see the cats tomorrow afternoon, think I'm going to knock Chessington on the head, it's about an hour's drive and I reckon it'll be too noisy for DD, let alone me.....and very expensive! The cats fair will be a few quid or so, and closer to get home from afterwards as and when we're tired (and have a couple of cats secreted under our jumpers....if only!)

Pretty good day today :) Received cheque for mobile I told (minus £5 as I didn't read anywhere that I had to send the charger as well, grrr), some money off vouchers came in the post that I'll use for Mr T's and took DD to the cinema using a free child offer :)

Also - I've sold another CD, really not making much money out of it, but at least they're out of my way, lol...

Phew! Just listed 8 items on Eb*y, making the most of DD being a bit under the weather and wanting a quiet day watching TV and having cuddles. Still have more to list, but really can't be bothered at the moment....

Does anyone else find that when they look at things in their wardrobe that they don't really wear, that they get annoyed with themselves at how much money they've wasted over the years? I can't be the only one wishing I could have certain experiences over again and take a different path *sigh*

Hoping to get DD dressed and out later so we can go to a fete and stop being slugs.

I went through a phase of trying to find "nice" clothes about a year ago as I normally go for comfy. I bought a lovely pair of jeans which I haven't worn and are still sitting there. I think I might take a leaf out of your selling book and try some internet selling for them.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Absloutely, I get annoyed thinking how much I spent on something and how little I've worn it. If Ican find the energy and range of movement I might try listing some clothes on ebay too! Enjoy your fete!

The cat fete was lovely, we found out that we can go and be cat cuddlers, so I was able to leave the place without stuffing a few moggies under my t-shirt!

I've got 2 watchers on my jeans from before I started the diet, so hopefully one item at least will go within the 10 days :)

DD's now fast asleep in the back of the car, I should really be listing the rest of the clothes but instead I'm watching Come D*ne with me.......silly me, watching a foodie programme whilst on LL....

Darn it, the vouchers didn't sell :( I had a very cheeky offer which I turned down and they didn't up it. Oh well, I'm sure they'll have something I can wear (or I'll buy something for someone else...and save "present fund" money).

Off to open my new bank account in a mo, £5 a month just for paying my salary in - kerrrching!

Hooray, just opened my new bank account and will be getting £50 credit from the Halif*x soon :) I know where that's going.....

Also paid in 2 very small cheques into my mortgage and then "found" another £10 and pennies in my bank account that I've moved across! :) Go me, at this rate I'll have paid it off by Christmas....! (note I'm not saying by which year's Christmas...)
