Darn it, my lovely dress turned up today.........and it's too short! I'm 5'8" and it would make me look like a hooker, lol, so that's £52 saved which as I'd already moved the money into my credit card account, will now go into the savings pot, so not necessarily a bad thing - silver lining in every cloud and all that!
I've also got to send back some wellies I ordered online that cut off the circulation to my bad leg they're so tight! Strange as I bought a pair of knee high boots from the same shop and they're fine, yet their wellies, which are traditionally baggy, are too narrow...anyway, that's £20 to go in the pot as well
After 2 horribly painful days and nights, I was very naughty last night and had some vino before bed!! I was really scared that it would have a very bad effect on me, luckily I researched the possibilities online and it was fine...but I think I'd let my codeine levels drop too much over the previous days and couldn't get comfy again. It did the trick last night but I'm still in pain now
Think I need to rethink the going to work next week idea...0 -

Well done, that's great :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

About time too - the refund cheques have come from the nursery
I'm going to go and pay them in to the mortgage straightaway, as my expenses will cover the holiday/party savings, with a bit left over to go into the mortgage. What a relief!
Saw a different GP yesterday evening who has added one nice and one scary drug to my routine, I'm saving the scary one for real emergencies as it worries me how dozy I'll be. So far so good, fingers crossed I'll be right as rain from now on...0 -

How are you feeling on the new drugs?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Hi Earthy, thanks for asking
I'm feeling better on the new combination, still not 100% pain free, but am avoiding the scary drug until bed time as I need to be supermummy during the day...so, of course, as I've been more mobile today and also need to keep DD occupied, I've been out and about, did a bit of shopping, getting just what we need and nothing more, 2 potatoes for baking, 2 bananas etc.......and am now cream crackered *sigh*
Paid the cheques in, realising that it was .85p, so an extra 10 pennies of the realm have gone to shift the mortgage, woo hoo!!
Luckily a friend is coming down later today to see us, so I'll get her to make her own bed, wash DD's hair and see if she fancies a braiding challenge, lol, and in return I can ply her with her body weight in vino and popcorn whilst we watch Strictly and/or X-Factor (I have a feeling she will be a fan of the latter, not my thing this year, I'm more into sparkles)
