If your OH and sons do all the comps and all the CT's they can have accounts!

Ooops sorry reread thread and we are all alowed to have accounts. Sorry if I jumped on my high horse.

You can all have accounts as long as each person logs onto Pigsback and does their own comps and Click throughs. If someone is sat at the computer and does their account and then log off and log back on as OH or son and does their comps and CT's then they are breaking the rules.

To be fair, i think most people are sticking up for (for want of a better phrase) PB/Darragh because they see that Darragh does do a lot to help people.

In fact in my experience, he's gone out of his way to make sure things are dealt with...

Sorry, I was of course so wrong - Darragh does this out of charity and to bring peace and light to the world of course...

...of course not - he gets paid for it! And:

    1) If there weren't all these "problems" he wouldn't be here half the time having to sort it out and spread his considerable charm around here.

    2) He's quite sharp enough to know it's worth his (paid) time to be here because every warm word he speads here (even it follows a complete Pigsback screw up) is worth it's weight in PR gold and promtion for his company.

If you can't see that then I really can't help you.

Darragh must also be delighted that with the amount of attention MSE gets these days, his competitors haven't wised up to this as well and the likes of Quidco assigned their own "Darragh" to the Board :)
It's not like people are forced to use PB, so if you are so dissatisfied with them, then why not just stop using them altogether.. no? Thought not.:)

Sorry - what the heck has that got to do with anything? Equally

I picked up on an inaccurate comment and bit of sermonising from a company employee of a business that gets criticised time and again on this site. Am I not allowed to do that?

Apologies - I didn't realise you had an equity holding in the site ownership! :)

Hang on I wanted my OH and sons to have accounts. How is this fraud, I don't want them using my account and spending my vouchers. Same with buying things I don't want my son or OH to see what I've bought and hidden away for christmas.

Like Darragh said, your OH and children can have their own accounts. What PB object to is people opening accounts in the name of others. My OH has his own account but as we share a pc, I'm on pigsback during the day while he's at work and he's on pigs back in the evening, it'd look a bit sus if someone logged into our accounts one after the other during the same times every day.

I know PB is not perfect but who is? I find them to be fun to use and I've had a few vouchers for nothing. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Darragh (maybe that'll change when you and your piggys enter Eurovision and become famous?) but I do appreciate that he takes the time to come on this site, I've noticed from posts that he's helped quite a few people and he allways thanks us when we point out a problem with the PB site.

He didn't introduce the idea at all, he replied to somebody asking about it.. and fraud was mentioned long before Darrah replied too.

He just jumped onto it and launched a sermon in response to a fairly innocuous post from the OP - which I saw as being quite inappropriate.

In reference to to your other comment endorsing MyUsernamesTaken OTT and offensive response to me suggesting I was "speaking for other MSE'ers" please refer back to my original post and the use of "I" throughout.

This is a Bulletin Board - we all stake our own opinions do we not? I don't think anyone claims to speak for anyone else, unless you are a company representative and openly state that is the company position.

I'm sorry that I didn't pick that point up before and set it straight - there was just so much complete grabage in MUNT's post I thought it would have taken too long to deal with it all.

Cor someone really does not like pigsback.

If they are such rubbish why do they bother having an account.

And if they don't have account why are wasting time being on this thread. Or maybe they just have not worked out the way Darragh posts yet. Yes he can come across as a bit terse. But that is the way he is.

Maybe it is me but I find this so boring. We go through this every month or so. A good old slanging match.

Mind you of course the company that they ran would be so much better and no problems what so ever. Yeah right what ever.

Could it be that I have learnt my lesson about 3rd party tracking and have had my fingers burnt. Only use cash back sites on the odd occasion that I do buy on line which is not very often. If I get the points it is a bonus. So don't sign up to things or buy goods just to get the points or cashback.

    Yours

Which benefits us all in the long run does it not? This thread was also worth quite a few points for those who entered and won the piggy photo competition earlier, and it's very valuable to those who are chasing points and have had them sorted out via this thread/pm's etc...

You're the only one who seems to take Darraghd's post responding to an earlier ongoing topic in this thread so personally, why's that?

*GULP* there's 3 of us here with PB accounts and have signed in quite close to each other at times.. better make sure we don't from now as wouldn't want it to look like one person is running all 3 accounts..
