Great fun! Thanks to Darragh for arranging that!
Thanks, Droop. I liked the play on Pink Floyd, by the way. Very good.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Well if I wasn't about to 'down tools' for the week and head for the pub beer garden, you'd all be getting the relative benefits of my 'wisdom' right now
But thankfully the lure of a nice cold beer has spared you the diatribe
Suffice to say that defrauding a company cannot be justified under any circumstance. PB ain't perfect, but at least they're trying to make it better. What is the OP trying to do, besides hurling "alleged abuse" around
Let (s)he who is without sin, and all that.....if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem....
<sigh> There's so much I want to say, but truly don't have the energy for it. Will be logging back on tomorrow evening, so undoubtedly the next few posts will raise a chuckle
Darragh - don't let the &*$£%*s grind you down. It's the weekend and it's sunny, go grab yourself a drink. And think of it this way - it could be worse, you could be in Charles Clarke's shoes right now
There endeth the sermon, and minor political satire
Have a good weekend, one and all :beer:0 -

You are right it certainly is not perfect. From using the website it seems to have been coded by a beginner programmer. I think I could do a better job at it.0 -

Would you like to submit a CV with an example of how it could be and how you personally could make it better? careers@pigsback.com is the correct email address. We're always looking for great people to join the team!

Sorry I would love to join pigsback.com and improve it but unfortunately I am a student and in full time education. I am quite alarmed about all the bugs in your website. When I get round to it I will email you.0 -

Darragh you had better make sure that Curly does not read this.
I am starting to feel guilty about being a member of Pigs back.
I am not sure if I should say this but If Curly goes around the country on tour make sure he does not go to Malton in North Yorkshire.
I work in a Factory that receives around 3000 of his friends each day so that we can turn them into things for dinner.
Sorry but I had to say so.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
Edna_Bucket wrote:I agree with the sentiment, but I think it is hypocritical in the extreme for a company representative of any company to attempt to take the moral high ground unless he/she is 100% confident that their company is indeed perfect.
The "people in glass houses" rule surely applies?
Pigsback IS MOST CERTAINLY NOT PERFECT - as the comments on this and the other threads indicate.
What of all the points from various promotions that appear to be "accidentally" forgotten to be credited unless the company is chased very hard?
Being a generous and fair-minded bunch, MSE'ers by and large seem to take a very charitable view that these are indeed accidental omissions. A cynic might suspect that whatever the representative says here, these are symptoms of a deeper malaise at the company - not crediting promotional points only works to one sides favour after all!
If these omissions are in any way not accidental, that is fraud too.
I am personally sure they are not deliberate Darragh, but simple ineptitude by a small company with very few staff, but it's one of those things you could never convincingly prove one way or the other.
However, in view of all the above, until your own company indeed reaches perfection, don't you dare come back on MSE again preaching at anyone here
I for one will certainly be far less polite than in this post if you try that on again.
I think you should delete your previous post and apologise.
Totally disagree too! And I wouldn't call the post polite!0
