    Hello

    Quick straw poll...

Do you buy from CD WOW!

If you do, what would make it better for you?

If not, why not and what would make you start?

We're just having a conversation about it in the office and I think your reactions will be different to our assumptions...

    Thanks

Yes I buy frequently from CDWOW via Pigsback, and the points are added within a few hours :T

    I'd like a few more 20 piggypoints per £ spent promos ;)

They could do with a larger catalogue of goods as often they don't stock what I'm looking for.

Yes but only sometimes. I would like to say more piggy points would make me buy more- but I would be lying.:p I tend to use Amazon & Play as they have a better selection of non chart cds & dvds and better prices for these selections.Cd wow are good for chart cds but us oldies prefer to reiminise ! Plus amazon & play have faster delivery. We also buy xbox & xbox360 games and use Play as they have faster delivery ( important to impatient gamers ) and their prices are better for these items.
I do like cdwow for region 1 dvds and always use them for these as I know I wont get custom charges.

What do the pigsback staff think , as you said their opinion might be different?

I will occasionally buy from CD-Wow, but as other's have said .... their range is very poor and quite often doesn't even list what I'm looking for. Their prices aren't always the cheapest and can be very expensive on occasion. Now and then delivery can be a little slow.

Play.com has a full range, always has the item I'm looking for, and is usually one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest. Delivery is usually very fast considering their location too.

I would proabably shop more at CD-Wow if they became more like Play.....or even better.....Play bought out CD-wow and transferred all their business to the sites play currently work / ship from.
this is exactly how i feel

Want to hear a funny story? I bought my first CD with 'em, it arrived and it's, well, I think it's in Argentinian! :o I am not sure if it was me or them :o Sooooo, mailed 'em and they were soooooo nice, they are sending me a Freepost bag to return the thing :o AND will send me the right thing.
If the customer service is as good by the end I am a convert! I always go by customer service.

    Thanks!! :D:D:D

I've bought from CD Wow and would buy more often if they sold CDs and DVDs I wanted. Their metal/punk/goth selection is pretty poor.

I used to buy from CD WOW. Stopped shopping with them after the fiasco with TimeOut. A company that messes up a marketing exercise doesnt get my money!
