Do you buy from CD WOW!
If you do, what would make it better for you?
If not, why not and what would make you start?
We're just having a conversation about it in the office and I think your reactions will be different to our assumptions...
Thanks
Darragh
I've bought a couple of times from CD Wow - and I'm always impressed with their delivery times - and their prices are sensible too - so nothing to change from my point of view!!
:A0 -
I would shop more if they didn't keep changing there prices up at one minute down the next.Lucky No27

I will occasionally buy from CD-Wow, but as other's have said .... their range is very poor and quite often doesn't even list what I'm looking for. Their prices aren't always the cheapest and can be very expensive on occasion. Now and then delivery can be a little slow.
Play.com has a full range, always has the item I'm looking for, and is usually one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest. Delivery is usually very fast considering their location too.
I would proabably shop more at CD-Wow if they became more like Play.....or even better.....Play bought out CD-wow and transferred all their business to the sites play currently work / ship from.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Do you buy from CD WOW! Yes, and now via PB
If you do, what would make it better for you? Quicker delivery! (and for them to stop with the naff email promo vouchers, we've only ever got 50p ones!! :rotfl: )
I've usually found them to have what I need, although for older titles I will use other websites such as Amazon & Play. No complaints with them other than that.
If not, why not and what would make you start? n/aThe £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

I got 7 CT today - without having to 'refresh' once. So did My Hubs!!
and I won 100 on the snooker - but only bet 50 - so 200% back isn't bad!

If you do, what would make it better for you? nothing, really, they're just about the only place i buy CDs/DVDs from. A better search function might be nice

Used them once and would use again I think
Depends on what offers they have
I'm an offer hound really I guess
If their delivery times are good and they have what I want (I have ecclectic taste so it's no-ones fault if some places don't stock what I'm after!) I would use them more I think for pressies or bits for the OH especially if there were good Piggy points on offer
I think you are asking a pretty focussed group here who will spend the time and check quidco against pigsback and various suppliers before choosing. Most people wouldn't bother with all that faffing about and would just see an offer and go "oooo that's a good deal!" So maybe we're too focused a group?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Do you buy from CD WOW!
Only when using pigsback or nectar points, so not really.
If you do, what would make it better for you?
N/A
If not, why not and what would make you start?
Better website design. For example, no annoying window ads on home page that reload every time you go back to the index page. Better filtering on DVD regions, some searches can exclude non-region 2 stuff but others (eg boxsets) dont. I know a lot of people have a multi-region dvd player but there are a lot that dont too!
Less adverts, the page layout is cluttered enough without adverts obsuring even more.
A nitpicking one but having a section called "PC CD-ROM" seems dated as most now come on DVD-ROM, just seems a bit unprofessional in terms of site updating. (I'm currently doing web design at university so I'm harsh on design, plus a heavy PC Gamer) On a similar vein, last time I checked Digital Camera's arent a type of mp3 player....
Way too much pushing of sponsored links. I expect it from pigsback as its how it makes its money but I go to a cd/dvd shop for just that, cds and dvds, im not looking for a new bank account or digital photo printing. Reasonable ones such as dvd rental services makes sense, but the others....why?
And as others have said better product range, the dvd range is terrible whereas play.com and amazon have both new and old titles in stock.Out of my mind. Back in 5 minutes.0 -
Powergen on the NI portal, are they new to NI or are we all still stuck with NIE?0
