Hehe, Thank you very much - noticed you were 'stalking' hehe0 -
Fab cards everyone, now Padster how do I make an easel box like yours, it's gorgeous!!!
Mary, very good news from the boffins about OH xxx
My chaps are bit better but DS1's ear is still leaking, can't believe how much muck can come out of one ear!!! I am struggling to feed them as they don't really want to eat as throats are sore, there's only so much mac cheese I can handle in a week  May do mac cheese and a spag bol so we have some choice tonight
Flourgirl, I've probably missed you but can recommend Ikea meatballs, they are yummy (with the sauce and jam). The chips that come with the meatballs however are yuck! Have a good shopping day. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Morning Mary
Thanks for that, isn't it awful waiting all that time, but hopefully it'll be good news for your OH then.
My OH went to see Osteopath yesterday and he was really good at explaining things and how the sciatic nerve worked etc. He also did some manipulation and said that his back is in a really bad way at the moment and didn't think it was a good idea for OH to go back to work too soon.
I'll keep an eye open for your updates.

MORE HELP WITH NELLIES PLEASE
OK, so I've had a play. I'm using a cuttlebug, some questions:
1. What is the sandwich people are using? I've played around and this is what seems to be working A + C + die + cardstock + B, BUT I am almost forcing it through the bug and it isn't cutting through all the card, just some of it.
2. What weight cardstock are you using. I've tried paper, 160gsm card and some a bit thicker. I'm getting worried I might break my bug now the thicker I go and I'd normally use pearlescent (which is about 250gsm) or the Core'dinations whitewash or gemstone.
3. Do you need to take the little shaped pieces of foam out of the "holey" bits shown on here? OH seems to think you do, he says these bits of foam are stopping the die cutting properly. I haven't seen anywhere where it says to take them out, but finding instructions for these dies is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
I'm getting very frustrated with this.0 -

ok I used the same sandwich as you and used card sorry not sure what weight it was stiff to go through the bug but found if I position the die further back on he plates it seemed a little easier. I also had a problem with it not cutting the whole way round mine seem to cut on the 2sides only so I got round this by putting through bug once and then turning the die around and putting through again hth
the other poblem I had was that the sticker on the top of the die has started to wear off and is stuck to my cutting plates now.0 -
TomsMum - Sorry I've no idea BUT when I use my swirl die (no idea what make!) I left the foam on the die & it never cuts through properly so I have to tease the swirls out. Daft idea but have you tried turning the sandwich the other way up A + B + cardstock + die (face down) C?
Or email Ikki? I think she's used these dies.0 -
How weird is this Ikki has posted a sandwich list on her blog todayOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
