Correct - the mats in picture 8 are done by cutting the dies apart and using them seperately then the frames in pic 9 are done by combining the dies x
Thanks Lei.
So if I've cut them apart then want to combine them again, do I just place them onto my B plate (or whatever, not checked out the sandwich yet) or do I have to fix them temporarily with sticky tape or something? I'll have a play tomorrow but want to find out as much as I can before I cut them apart or do something I shouldn't. You can tell I'm new to this die cutting lark :rotfl: , I've got some Nesties but only made a mat so far, not done a frame.0 -
Not got much time tonight - hopefully will post properly tomorrow.
mary-op - Phew! that sounds a positive good news.
flourgirl - Hope you've got good walking shoes & good sense of direction for tomorrow there'll be lots & lots to see & when you think you've seen it all -there's more! Each time I've been I get lost! Can't think of anything specific to look out for. Tea & coffee @ Warrington is a DIY effort with as many refills as you want if it helps. Hope you have a good time & manage to eat all the cake!
Rainmac - hope DS's are feeling better now they have antib's.
PepPop - I've got instructions how to do photobucket on here will find tomorrow & pm you.
Proper catch up tomorrow!0 -

morning all! my free book from crafts beautiful arrived at last yesterday! I got the rubber stamping one, havent had time for a proper look yet but have flicked through and it looks quite good on first glance, quite a few ideas I should be able to adapt using my own stash!
fantastic cards on blogs everyone, padster I love your easel box!! what a great idea :T0 -
My book came yesterday too!!! the same one as yours Gemma - I thought it might come in handy & that I might actually start stamping one of these days - it would be useful considering I've got stamps that are probably about a year old ish and never used!!!!0

The book I ordered is causing problems (flowers one) I had about 5 attempts at ordering and gave up. They emailed me to say it isn't coming up with the code, might try later last attempt.
Marg we are going to the Leeds one and I have no idea what to expect, just some yummy diam cake!! Better get DH to take his bank card though!! Might have to drag him into M&S in White Rose Shopping Centre, he WILL love it lol0 -
PepPop - Sorry this is a bit long it's by rosekitten from another thread & what I used to get started. Hope it helps!

no probs have a look at these pics
below it will be easier to follow
first pic the photo you want to use
if you look there are four different
choices, for on here if you pick the one
on the bottom row, just click on the
code it will turn blue and a little yellow
label pops up with `copied`this only
appears for a second or two.
then all you do is come on here and
when you just right click on your mouse
in the reply box and the HTML appears
to make sure its OK just press `go advanced`
and it will show your picture if
your happy then just press submit.
you will have noticed I post the little
pics that when you click on them enlarge
into a big pic.this is how its done.
click the little square just under the pic
it puts a green tick in the little box
then scroll the page down to the bottom
and click on the large bar on the right hand
side of the page.
This takes you to another page
that looks like this below,
click on the third colum down
this it turns blue, then right click
the little white box appears,
press copy and then come on here
and right click to paste into the reply box
and you will get a smaller image
size that can be enlarged by
clicking on it.
.
the advantage of this size they load
up really easily, especialy for those on
dial up or with a lower spec on their PC
and you can paste loads of images at once.
the top row on this pic above is ideal for
ebay listings.0 -
Morning Ladies Phew that post is huge isn't it - sorry.
Good news - I 'spoke' to Saveapenny last night on facebook she is fine but only crafting when she gets an order and a bit overwhelmed at the catching up she would need to do on here. (We all know how that feels after holidays don't we?) I told her just to come back anyway when she was ready and we would all be pleased to see her.
OAP - I forgot to say last night how lovely I thought your cards were - fantastic.
Craftygranny - Hope the 'switch on' goes well for Carly - (Can they control the volume at first so it doesn't scare her?) How's things on the Alicia front? & finally WOW at all that stash how do you find things - I forget what I've got with only a couple of boxes.......0 -
Morning Mary
Thanks for that, isn't it awful waiting all that time, but hopefully it'll be good news for your OH then.
My OH went to see Osteopath yesterday and he was really good at explaining things and how the sciatic nerve worked etc. He also did some manipulation and said that his back is in a really bad way at the moment and didn't think it was a good idea for OH to go back to work too soon.
I'll keep an eye open for your updates.
Sal
xHello all :j
Back from seeing the 'boffin' at hospital - xrays done and though the shadows still on OH's lung its not as dense as it was -I didn't think so and nor did the boffin !
He still wants OH to have another scan but not for 6 weeks so seems there's no urgency -relief and hoping it goes on as it is.
Thanks for all the 'inside outers'...........:j
craftygranny
Definitely be 'inside out' days -hope everything goes ok:o
rainmac - hope your young ones get better soon x:o
sally - I'll be thinking of you and your OH............best get the girls here to do the 'inside out' thing........you never know, stranger things have happened.
Sciatica does take a while so tell OH to bear with it, painful as it is. x
Bound to leave someone out so well done for all the super cards :T0 -
Oh Thank You very very much!
Gem x0
