TSL definatly CRAFT, I love your distressed card the sugar nellie stamp is soo gorjuss!! I bought that one last week but have not used it yet

I was at Funky kits real shop on Saturday for a promarker/prismacolor pencils demo. Totally engrossing an hour passed before I had noticed. I ended up buying a box of pencils, paper stumps and a bottle of Sansodor to blend the colours with.

I did two cards last night whilst OH watched the football

    Feeding squirrels I used promarkers

    and Demure I used prisma

Am off to do some crafting - didn't manage any this afternoon, the ironing won - well it had to really, no-one would have had any clean clothes if I'd left it any longer.

    Will pop back later, Thriftyxxx

Theres a 10% code in papercraft inspirations for craft superstore which could come in handy for those interested in making a big purchase - applies over £20. I've just bought a big bite and am absolutely not going to buy anything else until after next payday (it was payday today so it's a long way to go - I also bought some of those 12x12 storage boxes - thanks craftygranny and made a craftwork cards order. ooopsy!).

Thanks to everyone for the lovely comments about my card and on my blog - made me all squishy inside :)

Popkins - I used ruby and red on her coat, satin and dusky pink on her face, her hair was ice grey 4 and black and the fox was ice grey 1 and ice grey 4.

I want more promarkers too :p but I will NOT let those spendy elves back out their box - wrestles the lid back on the box quickly.

ETA: shhhhhh, that stamp is on sale at Funky Kits

  • Evening ladies - fabulous work everyone! Special mentions to OAP and TSL though - beautiful cards.

I'm off babysitting in a mo - but just discovered a giant toblerone and may have to take it with me! Just had 2 pieces which is more chocolate than I'd usually eat in a week but I've got the taste for it tonight!

Craftygranny, sorry :o completely missed you off my post, meant to say a huge good luck to Carly with the switch on xxx

I managed to make a card today... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/ in between looking after two poorly kiddies. Was meant to be finishing the ironing I didn't do the other day . I took the 2 poorlies to Tesco (nearest biggish shop to me) to get them a little something as being stuck in with me all week is slowly driving us all crazy. So, I managed to pick up Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine whilst I was there so have the lovely free papers and they are lovely :D. If you get the magazine from Tesco you also get a reasonable set of Beatrix Potter embellishments. Not really my kind of thing but they are free ;)

Going to have a relaxing evening doing some image colouring.
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain
  • This is probably a stupid question, but you know on websites when it doesn't specify paper size...do I presume its 12 x 12?

Like on cleocrafts, there's this paper... http://www.cleocrafts.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/48_209_420/products_id/2139

    I'd appreciate any help :)

I think it's safe to assume that at that price it's 12 x 12 Saucy. It's not very often you find smaller sizes sold in single sheets unless it's special cardstock or something.

PS. Just had another look, it looks like it's a site mainly for scrapbooking supplies so it would be 12 x 12, also it seems to be double sided, again 12 x 12 often is.

saucysecrets - just had a look and can't see anything that tells you the size but I'd have thought if its for scrapbooking it would be 12 x 12 -someone else on here will know better I'm sure.

I've just gone bonkers and ordered a load of paper from calico crafts - they've a sale on and some basic grey was on sale as well.............wanted some to cover shoe boxes for pressies..............:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
