Thanks Gemm. Those charms were from ebay and I was dissapointed at how small they were. Your challenge card is gorgeous and I love the Pink pen x I think I will make one of those to go with Rainmacs magnetic peg "List of things to do" which is always on my boiler complete with list!

NEgirls new recipe has been posted so going to check that out later and see if I have the ingredients to make it.

Welcome home theWife :jSo lovely to have you back, hope you are ok after the fall xxx

Hope work was good Rusty x

My monkeys are poorly :(, DS1 has developed a really bad rash on his face, neck, back and chest and is lethargic and has a temperature. Looks like DS2 has the start of the rash too. We'll be off to the GP tomorrow.

    Take care everyone x

Hope your monkeys get well soon xxxxxxx

Hi all, Rusty you did just make me chuckle re your daughter.
I've been away for a while but been reading posts. Lovely to see all your cards I really must make another soon. Trying to make at least one a week. I got my free Valentines ribbons the other day and am trying to make two cards to send off to them like they asked but feel I'm not really good enough.
Rainmac sorry I'm a bit late but it was lovely to hear the news about your Mum. x
Have caught the Crochet bug as well and am currently crocheting a pig lol Its a ball at the minute but I'm sure when I add the ears, nose etc it will come to life.
I am loving my Bloom and Grow papers at the minute and really looking forward to the arrival of the new pepper and friends range. Has anyone heard about it yet?
The Nellie dies look lovely. I feel I am in a little world of my own here and when I log on to MSE I find out about new and exciting things.
Anyway will try and have a busy crafting week and get my blog updated. I started so well this year would be ashame to stop now. xx

Oooh I saw Pepper and friends at one of my local papermill shops, wandered past and ran in to have a look whilst OH was looking the other way, the decoupage looks lovely!!

Glittermum - Sorry I wasn't being funny, I hope you didn't think I was? There was apparently complaints about my username being crude and rude and all the rest of it. I don't see why I should change my username when it is perfectly clean and people just have dirty minds!! ... so I rebelled, I set up a thread about it, and had hundreds of comments most of which found it funny, and I also set up a poll, again the majority (over 200) were happy for me to keep my username and there were 7 who wanted me to change it. I then sent a PM to Martin with the links in, the threads were then deleted and nothing was ever said since :rotfl:

    Flourgirl/CT - I am going to reply to your PM's in a minute or 2 :)

Toms-mum - I user promarkers, I am very new to digi stamps though and I am printing them on my very thick card so it looks ok if that makes sense?

Saucy secrets - Joanna sheen sells promarkers (with free postage) I started off buying the packs of 5 promarkers which give you basic colours. link here but scroll down til you see the packs of 5.

Marg - DD is still in nappies at night .... well apart from Friday when OH and I forgot to put one on her  she had been so very naughty and I sent her upstairs, we somehow got her teeth done and into bed without one but paid for it when she woke up 4 hours later crying and had an accident on her nice new bed :rotfl: luckily it all unzips and goes in the washing machine!! ... she ended up sleeping with us and is such a wiggle bum! still at least I won't forget again!

Flourgirl - oooh 3 under 3 would just about kill me off :rotfl: Love your card on your blog, not had chance to comment in blogland as yet but plan to! ... The mushroom charms are beautiful, although quite small

Gemm - Beautiful card and pen holders :j :j

Don't think I have missed anyone? but apologies if I have?

Yes Rusty, makes sense. I think I printed mine on 160gsm card. I read somewhere that spraying the image with cheap hairspray when it comes out of the computer will "set" it so you can water colour it - doesn't work :rotfl: . I thought the Pro Markers were the way to go but I just can't get into them, I'd want too many. I'll try again and be more careful next time. I emailed DD as she wanted a suggestion for my birthday and she's getting me 2 of the Nellies frames, perhaps I should have said 150 Pro Markers instead :D.

By the way, I don't think I have a dirty enough mind - can't see the problem with your user name but I would have loved to have read the thread discussing it :rotfl: .

Just popped tonights card on my blog if you want a nosey x

Very nice craft room Flourgirl. I try and keep mine tidy, it looks pretty good when the doors on the cupboard are shut :rotfl: . I have a pretty big desk (had it in the office before we moved here) and I really don't understand how, despite it being quite big, I always end up with a 6" square of clear workspace  . This is where I do my cards, it's the guest room in the converted loft space. Scroll down, down, down to LOFT and you'll see my mega-tidy desk. It's not like that now, nor is the bed which is covered with Cuttlebug folders, Nesties, papers, card and even a tube of Christmas baubles :rotfl:. DD is coming to stay during February half term, I might just make an effort and clear the bed for her :D. Sorry I've had to link to my other blog, I've got no other way of showing just the photo.

By the way, your card with the mouse and balloons, that's the image I was colouring yesterday. I'm using it for my grandson who will be 7 next month. Yours is lovely, very pretty colours. I'm having to do mine boy colours and blue really isn't my thing (but one of the papers is spotty :T, I love spotty), unless it's Christmassy with snowflakes and such!
  • Oops I somehow spent £50 in hobbycraft this weekend :o How did that happen?

I bought some Black Magic Core dinations card and can't wait to start using them.

Might be a bit technical for TomsMom if you struggle with Draw, but for anyone familiar with Photoshop, Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) is a free opensource alternative.

I can't even get started with Draw :rotfl: . I'm a very simple person :D. I've never been to Hobbycraft, I live in a craft desert .

ok- you lot have got me playing with my paper again.

Does any one use a cricut? If so have you got any tips to make the mats last any longer? I already reverse them but I was wondering if anyone did anything else?
    Thanks!
Bit late on this one but I've found ckeaning it with a baby wipe, then drying with a bit of kitchen roll and letting it dry really works. Have no idea why but it really does!
(Sorry if someones already sugguested this ... not read through past this yet!)
