Don't you just hate that V word when you have a really poorly child and a doctor says there's nothing they can do cos it's a virus!!! I'm sure I'll get told the same tomorrow
Love your new dies by the way, they are sooooo gorgeous x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

They are a ren't they! I think I love them more than just about anything (apart from my new fairy stamps from whoopidoo!). Watch out for the postie next week - thought you might like to try some out seeing as how you don't have a bug!0 -
Rainmac sorry to hear about your boys, hope they're soon better xx
My DH asked me if your DH was a pilot, cos someone on the flying forum was called Pilot Rainmac lol0 -
DTB those stamps are fab, just the right ones for the teabag and coffee cards
Glittermum those new Nellie dies are gorgeous and so much cheaper than the nesties. I can imagine some lovely cards coming up.0 -
Hi all, Rusty you did just make me chuckle re your daughter.
I've been away for a while but been reading posts. Lovely to see all your cards I really must make another soon. Trying to make at least one a week. I got my free Valentines ribbons the other day and am trying to make two cards to send off to them like they asked but feel I'm not really good enough.
Rainmac sorry I'm a bit late but it was lovely to hear the news about your Mum. x
Have caught the Crochet bug as well and am currently crocheting a pig lol Its a ball at the minute but I'm sure when I add the ears, nose etc it will come to life.
I am loving my Bloom and Grow papers at the minute and really looking forward to the arrival of the new pepper and friends range. Has anyone heard about it yet?
The Nellie dies look lovely. I feel I am in a little world of my own here and when I log on to MSE I find out about new and exciting things.
Anyway will try and have a busy crafting week and get my blog updated. I started so well this year would be ashame to stop now. xxWould love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)0 -

Distressing
I had my first go at distressing today and oh boy am I distressed at the state of my poor papers :rotfl:.
I thought I'd have a go at the Sugar Bowl challenge - the sketch has 5 layers and it has to include distressing . Think I'll stick to KISS challenges in future :rotfl:.
Well, give it a go I thought. So I have attacked the edges of my papers with an emery board. I haven't got any brown ink for the distressed edges so I decided to have a go at teabag staining.
Lord knows what this card is going to end up looking like - watch this space.
Soooooo....
Do any of you lovely ladies have any tips for distressing papers.
Thanks, Thriftyxxx0 -
Sorry thrifty no tips from me it all sounds too messy lol Maybe you need Tim Holtz distressing inks
