I'm home!! just a quick but huge thank you for the gorgeous Christmas cards I received just before and during my time away.
I can't remember if I'd been in contact here just before Christmas but I had a really bad fall while out walking the dog. I managed to get an appointment with the Doc on Christmas Eve who said it was ok to fly but I wasn't to sit any longer than an hour without walking the length of the plane at least twice. Anyway, we went and the flying wasn't too bad and we had wheelchair assistance as there was no way I could have walked around Terminal 5, it's ruddy huge! Being in the wheelchair was great as we got priority boarding and the use of the cart to take us here and there.
The grandchildrens faces when we knocked on the door on Christmas Day will stay with me forever. Anyway, back home now and eager to get crafting again.
Tomsmum, please can you tell me about your challenge? Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -

Tomsmum, please can you tell me about your challenge?
Glad you had a good time away, seeing your grandchildren's faces must have been priceless, but sorry about your fall. I think I may have only just joined this thread at about the time of you going away.
Anyway, my challenge was Back to Basics. Here's a link to my original post setting the challenge. There's a link to the card I made which started it all off, and page 428 of the thread was the start of links to cards made.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.0 -
I bought a bind it all last night, after much debate with myself, and my OH eventually ordering it for me...I hate buying things for myself that he's unlikely to use!
Anyway, I got a pink v2, and hopefully it'll come on Tuesday! I'm feeling excited, but really guilty too. I'll have to try and save to get him something this week, too.
It sounds like you had a great Christmas The Wife, I hope you are feeling better!
And I'm off to be creative!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Tomsmum, that looks a fab challenge, can't wait to delve into the huge box of (cough, cough
)Just Rite Stampers I've returned with. Couldn't decide which ones to get so I bought just about one of everything.

Welcome back Wifey - you'll have to let me kow how you get on with the Just Rite stampers - I'm still in 2 minds about them!
Lovely cards Sunrise - and Gemm - your covered tin looks amazing.
I've been playing a bit more with my Nellie Stellen frames (finally worked out what you can really do with them). I think they are absolutely beautiful and if anyone wants any cut let me know. This picture is also on my blog so yo can have a closer look!0
