Sorry to hear that your little monkeys are not well, rainmac. I'm sure the 'v' word is used 'cos the doc just doesn't know what it is.
Lots of lovely stuff you've all posted. I'll get round to the blogs as soon as I've climbed Ironing Mountain, I'm sure OH could ski down it, it so high.
Rusty, aw! Bless, little miss! I'm sure that's NOT what you said at the time.
It really is nice to be back amongst my 'stuff' Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
HELP!!!!!!!
Can someone please tell me what you use to colour in digi stamps.
I've tried one today and because I've used watercolouring, taking as much water out of the brush as I could manage, the ink has muddied the colouring a bit.
I don't have pro markers only some brush strokes pens and my colouring with those just about matches a 3 year old's.
I've got some really nice digi stamps and want to do more with them.0 -
Oooh, I want promarkers. I completely forgot.
Ebay seems expensive...is there anywhere that sells them for less then £30?Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Beautiful card flourgirl and I love your craft room, looks so organised. xWould love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)0

Tomsmum - I've had some success colouring digital images with 'Paint' on the pc. I think CT uses paintshop pro but I don't have that. It can be a bit tedious to do and I haven't done shading. If I can help further please shout.
Rusty - Oh Dear! My niece is having similar with her little boy who's 3 his latest mishap was in the middle of a school playing field with nowhere to change him but in situ! I was a bit apprehensive when they came to stay with us but he wore a nappy at night! Phew!
Lovely new stamps DTB
Sorry to hear about your little ones rainmac hope it's nothing serious & they feel better real soon.0 -

Thanks Marg. I don't think I can colour them on the PC. I don't have Paintshop Pro and I don't have Microsoft software, I use Open Office which has Draw and has some way of colouring things but I don't know how to use it. I dare say my grandson could work it out and show me but I think I wouldn't get on with it, I'm too impatient to mess around, just want to put something in my hand and colour with it :rotfl: .
Maybe I'll just have to be a bit more careful. I'm still trying to learn about watercolouring. I know Pro Markers would probably be the answer but I'd want too many colours and I can't run to the expense.0 -

I use promarkers now but have used pencils in the past and got some ok results could be worth trying and they needn't cost the earth.0 -
TomsMum I have some promarkers, but still use my grandaughters coloured pencils on occasions when I like a softer colour. I haven't done shading I'm not very artistic, I have tried Paint and like Marg says its very tedious.0

Thank-you Wam. My craft room is only so neat and organised because it's new! Just wait a few weeks until I've made some more cards and it will be back to it's usual tip. Mind you I will probably be able to find everything then too!!
Rusty reading your post about missy brought back many memories from when I was childminding. I looked after 3 under 3 at one time  Nightmare if 1 had upset tummy they all got it, usually when we were out in the car:eek: I have lifted a few dripping little ones out of the car in the past :rotfl:0 -
morning all! thanks for all your lovely comments on my blog, it really means the world to me that people like what I make
*mushy mode off*:p
I'm off work today on a flexi day so hoping to achieve lots! I ordered my NEC ticket last night and have booked the day off work too so I will definitely be there on the fridayI am getting excited already and theres still more than 2 months to go :rotfl: I've started a sealed tin like furry did last time so hope I'll have something in there worth spending!!
welcome back wifey! sorry to hear about your fall and hope youre feeling much better now xx
sunrise great easel cards
saucy - enjoy your bind it all, I cant wait to see what you make!
ali - the MME papers are gorgeous, there are no embossed or reversible ones in there like you get in the normal MME paper packs but still a great free gift for a magazine, much better than some freebies I've had in the past. I've got loads of bits of plastic with grooved shapes cut into them that claim to be 'embossing boards' but I can't be bothered with all the faffing around, much rather just roll something through my 'bug! lol
rainmac sorry to hear your little monkeys arent well, hope the GP can give them something for it xx
flourgirl I love your mushroom card, especially the little charm! very sweet
I made another pen magnet thingy (thats my technical name for it) yesterday, a slightly different version this time, it's on my blog along with my card for the challenge!0
