Lyndach - Awwww she is absolutely beautiful!! how old is she? Is it wrong that I wish I didn't have hairy babies? :rotfl:
Gemm - what a nightmare you are also having!! Hope your day gets better!
Flourgirl - Thankyou for my lovely card, it is beautiful, I will take a picture this evening and post it up! xxx
Thankyou for the comments on the colouring, I still think the magenta is quite bright but think I will build the card and then when I come to put the image on just try it first, if it doesn't look right then I will have to colour in another!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
You're welcome Rusty
I have just been commenting on the blogs and WOW!! there are some stunning cards. You have all been busy entering challenges, well done to you all. I really must try harder and make a list and DO some of them instead of blog hopping in aweThere are some extremely talented crafters out there.

I can't remember what everyone's written now but I'll try.
Lyndach - you're little girl is adorable, my youngest is just 2 but he's a brute (a very very funny brute!), according to his red book he's going to be about 6ft 5inches (I'm only 5ft 3inches, should be fun!!)
Gem, that must have been so scary, I'd been through those sort of days before I became a SAHM 2 years ago, and it's like you said, it knocks you out for the whole day, it's like the old addage of "getting out of bed the wrong side". Glad you Got to work safely though.
Flourgirl, thanks for the downloads, I've saved them ready!
That's as far as my brain goes, but I think the colouring was lovely. I've only got 4 promarkers, i need to get some more, where does everyone get there's as I was shocked at the price of them!! Any hints or tips for how to do such beautiful 3D colouring?
Off out in a bit to go and get myself a new corner desk for my office. Then going to give the office an overhaul and take the spare bed out so I can have more space in there. As I keep buying I keep needing more space!!! Been very good though, I bought the cuttlebug alphabet last night, and before that, I hadn't bought anything since I bought some gorgeous glittercard for christmas from ebay in about October!!!! Need to get ebaying some of our old junk so I can buy some of the things of these websites. Running desperately short of A5 cards now, only got deckle edge cream hammer card ones left.....Tesco Clubcard - £50, Boots Advantage Card - £4 , Nectar points - 1846 :T
I love Martin, he's saved me a fortune!!!:money:0 -
Jessica -Joanna Sheen are really good for promarkers and its free p&p. Quick service too0

You're colouring is great! If you still not happy with it do you have Cerise? You could maybe use that to try and blend out the Magenta a bit... x0 -
Hello all :j
Super cards you've done as usual :T
I've done nothing except tidy up (much needed) computer room.............young girl came to clean so I got motivated -just a bit.
Found I've got three boxes to cover -knew I should have ordered more paper  Oh well, they'll wait.
Sally - glad you managed to sort things out with your son. Good luck and hope it works well.
Be thinking of you on 27th
Hugs to all those with the infernal plumbing probs.........I hate them, those and electrics -OH is useless at both so always have to get someone in..(££££!!!!)
Didn't have half the snow that was forecast thank goodness -hoping it stays away.:rolleyes:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Rusty panic no longer - I used Rose Pink and either Pink Carnation or Blossom as the lighter colour - but can't tell which as they are both very similar and I don't have the card to look at to compare them :rotfl:.
For anyone whos interested - the blues were powder blue and denim blue and the boots were tan I think.
Am going to try something a bit different tonight - looks great in my head but not sure if it will work :rotfl::rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Oh my goodness - my son takes me shopping to stock up at the supermarket, I'm away for a few hours and come back to so many pages!
Sorry I can't remember it all but I checked out the cards and they are all lovely, well done everyone. Love the picture of the baby, and I apologise for forgetting who she belongs to - can I have her? :rotfl:
Sorry for the washing machine woes a lot of you are experiencing.
If anyone is looking for a guillotine/paper trimmer, I've had an email newsletter today from Lidl and they have this one on sale from 21 January. It's virtually the same as mine and for £9.99 a bargain, I think I paid £14.99 for mine a few years ago.
The new camera came today and OH has been playing with it while I was out, learning all about it - hopefully he can show me 'cos I carp with cameras :rotfl: . I can take some pictures now so hopefully will have something to blog about soon.0 -
Sal, glad you had the talk with your son, I nearly cried when you said he had confessed that that was the first and only pack he has bought. Thinking of you and your OH x
Mary, glad the pills seem to be working for you, make sure you get lots of rest x
Skiergirl, so sorry you are still poorly with a cold, hope the cold weather kills off the germs once and for all so you will be cold free x
Rusty, your colouring looks fantastic to me missus, I love those cute eskimos
Gemm, getting up late always throws me too, hope your day got better x
Popkins, you're right 75 sounds SOOOOOO much better than 150. You can easily make your own gatefold cards from sheet card to cut cost, just need to be exact with your measurements and do nice neat folds
Ebay may be a good place to look for ribbon?
My boys were both at school/preschool today so I had a dash to Ikea this morning (roads have cleared nicely here) and bought lots of storage boxes for under beds, a chair for Jack's new desk and a few other things. Managed to spend a whopping £90
I've entered another 4 card challenges today with cards I made/finished last night. Getting right into it, there's no stopping me at the moment:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Has anyone seen or knows where I can get.... one of those storage units for the top of my desk, the ones with about 12 small drawers in. I've looked at Ikea but can't see one. Its for embellishments and ribbons etc.0
