    I love Martin, he's saved me a fortune!!!:money:
  • Got my Glitterpot order!
Also got a MadAboutCards order coming tomorrow, but after that I must stop buying. Unfortunately :(

I'm loving making stuff. It's so much fun :) I'm saving for a Cricut Expressions, and I'll be getting a Bind It All next week. And OH just bought me a paper cutter thingy. Yay :)
    Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:
  • My idea worked :j - next one will need tweaking a bit - think I might make a few as presents :D.
Have listed the promarkers I used Rusty ;) am sure you've got them ones though :rotfl:

Got my nice new shiny B plates today but coz my bug is used to the scabby bent one it wouldn't cut right first time growllllllllllll!
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • Evening ladies!

I can't believe how busy this thread is now(and how much money is being spent:D)

Hugs to everyone needing them for carp days and poorly peeps. I managed to have a prang in my car on Monday - slid at a mini roundabout and just managed to avoid the car in front of me but took out my fog light on a high curb! Luckily I just reversed back into the traffic and carried on. Jamie just said 'Mummy, you said (insert rude word here)!' - luckily he forgot what it was later. I was a bit shaken up but am pleased to day I've been driving since. I just want all this white stuff to go now...

WIll be blogging a few cards later, I've actually managed to do Tomsmom's challenge so will pop it up here too.

    Have a lovely evening all.

    Hello all

Shall I bore you all with a washing machine update or shall I tell you that I've finally got around to making something at last. hurrah - starting to feel more human already!

Piccies on my blog here of
my MSE challenge card - thanks Toms Mum for setting it
and a scrapbook LO for my sis.

(and no- I don't have a working washing machine yet altho things are on the up - John Lewis have returned my installation fee and the kitchen fitter is coming around to look at the plumbing for the washer on Monday - sadly "&son" can't last till then for clean school clothes so I'll hopefully be making my last trip to my Mum's washing machine this weekend) Hugs to all the other washing machine martyrs!

    Made me chuckle!

"&son" heard me swear over Christmas for the first time - the look on his face! It was in nearly as stressful situation as yours but not quite - I was watching the last Dr Who episode.
He refuses to watch it because he says its too scary so he absented himself to play with his lego whilst I settled down with a large glass of wine and some tissues. He came down to check I was ok as he could hear me sobbing from upstairs and ended up sat next to me holding my hand and passing me tissues *how pathetic am I?*. Just as the dreaded 4 knocks sounded I said "Oh F**k it's Wilf".
Nothing has been said about it since - I think it's been stored away to be used in evidence/blackmail sometime in the future

    Hi DTB

Glad your halfway there to sorting out the washing maching. Beautiful card and scrap page on your blog, your sister will love them. What is your secret to tying your perfect bow? - do you have a bow maker or use a fork or something. Mine never look as good as yours, and I want to know how you do it (stamps feet!)

  • DTB - that reminds me that I haven't watched the last episode yet - must remember the tissues. Your card is lovely but that LO is just gorgeous. The shadow box is also stunning. Thanks for the fab idea about the clothes ribbons - they are often very long too I've noticed!

Here is my entry for the challenge, and also some cards made with my latest Craftwork cards delivery!

Well me and the OH went to watch Liverpool play last night. I can't describe how cold it was!!! We ended up leaving a couple of minutes before the end to get a taxi back before the mad rush so we didn't realise that Reading had scored and we missed the 30mins of extra time. Mind you I don't think there's any way that I could have stood around for another 30 mins. I have been so good - I haven't bought anything crafty for a while - I don't know what's wrong with me!!!!

Flourgirl - congrats on your win - I've got a few premium bonds, but I haven't won in ages!!!

Sally - your countdown card is superb - I love it - its great how you've spelt out happy birthday on the board. Sorry to hear about the problems with your son - I hope it all gets sorted soon, but I'm glad your OH's scan went okay.

Saucy - congrats on stamping your first image!!!!

Rusty - your bag is lovely - I love how you've used the eyelet and ribbon!

Mary - well done on finishing your m-i-l's box!!

Rainmac - my - you've been busy!!!! Your challenge cards are fabulous!!! Its really hard to pick a favourite - I think its your mojo monday one - that bear is adorable. Huge thanks for my hot chocolate mix that you send with my xmas present swap. When I got back from the football last night I had the urge for something cosy and comforting so I reached for your hot chocolate and popped the choccie drops and marshmallows in - it was heavenly and just what I needed!!!

Sunrise - your valentine's easel card is great - love those hearts and your mini knitting is sooo cute on the second!!!

OAP - lovely challenge card - it looks really effective how you've used the 2 papers.

Skiergirl - I hope you feel better soon.

Rusty - we've got a wii too - the kids love it!! We bought the wii fit for xmas - I need to get on it and lose some weight - but I've only been on it twice.

Craftygranny - I'm glad to hear that Alicia's doing well.

CT19720 - your butterfly card is gorgeous - the paper is so pretty!!

JessicaRabbit - your cards are lovely - so classy - they're so much better than my first attempts.

Dawnteabag - sorry to hear that you're still having trouble with your washing machine!

Lyndach - I can't believe you kitchen has started falling apart - that's terrible!!! Your cards are lovely though as is your daughter!!

Thriftyscotslass - I can't believe your neighbour - what an idiot!

Lou - your cards are fabulous - I don't think they are missing anything.

Dawnteabag - your challenge card is fab - love the cupcake image.
