Ooops forgot to say Marg your cards are lovely even your disaster one. Love how your cat has found a nice cosy bed lol. Re flying, mmm DH is already chomping at the bit, might be his last year at it though :(
I've just emailed Crafts U Love about a machine, DH has given me his bank card and told me to order what I want :0

Pics 2 & 3 are of my 'get back on the horse' card for Tomsmum's KISS challenge card. I've always liked the effect of the waste when I've punched out flowers so I used double sided card, punched the flowers, made a scalloped edge, stuck the scalloped edge on the hinge side and stuck on the flowers Then in true MSE style cut the image off the Disaster card & stuck it on the KISS card. Now I just need to put an insert in when I'm ready to use it.
    Seemple! I feel like a meercat.com!

I think your KISS cards are great Marg, and if you feel that your other card was a disaster (I don't!) I'm glad you salvaged something from it to use again. It's amazing what everyone's coming up with for this challenge.

CT - this is what I'd remembered if it's any help. She's also got craft robo stuff on her site - I've not looked at it though. How did your Niece get on with her Driving Test?

Padster beat me to it - sorry for repetition

Thanks for this Marg - i'll have a play with it later.

My neice went back to Greece on Sunday, having not taken her driving test. She was absolutely gutted as she'd been here almost 4 weeks and it was cancelled due to the weather, and the conditions of the roads around here. Just waiting for a new date for her to come through, apparently she will be issued with a priority date, as it wasn't her fault it was cancelled, so hopefully this will be within the next 3 or 4 weeks, in which case she will fly over for a few days to take the test and pass it. She is also gutted as her parents bought her a smart car, and she can't drive it until she passes. Thanks for asking.
    xx
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

SaucySecrets - I've got a bind-it-all and I love it!!! Were you after the blue one or the pink one??? The pink one is the newer edition and is more expensive but it can cope with thicker materials - I have the blue one and its fine for me.

It's just to cut paper and maybe thin chipboard, so if a blue one could cope with that then it'd be fine. Any ideas? I've only just discovered them and now I'm desperate for one :p

Paddington can I just ask how you go about buying things and digi images from the web when they are priced in dollars please. I have to say it always puts me off, cos I'm a bit dim with things like that.

I always pay with paypal so it converts it for me :p. And I always check shipping first - the belles n whistles site had an error which was going to charge me $28 for shipping for one stamp but it's sorted now :rotfl:.

If I want to check how much it is in real money I google for a currency exchange thingy and see what the difference is - that stamp I bought is £8.95 plus £1 P&P on Quixotic and I paid £7.16 - every little helps :rotfl::rotfl:.

Bear card on my blog plus I got a free butterfly bear digi for entering the bugaboo mini challenge :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Flourgirl - Thank you! you are so kind. Sam is always quick off the mark to find a cosy berth & isn't fussy he's been known to curl up within an indentation on the carpet, DH had only just unpacked the polystyrene round a gardenclock/thermometer Christmas present from my Brother & SIL.

Why might it be DH's last year of flying? I hope you're wrong!

Lucky you! getting the silouette I'll be dead keen to hear how you get on with it - I'd rather mess on the computer than paper & card.

Marg now he has retired (early) he feels guilty spending savings on a hobby, but its the only thing he spends money on for himself.

Paddingtondoo - fab bear card - it looks lovely with the rounded corners!

Flourgirl - I've ordered stamps a few times from America. A couple of sites that I use have really cheap postage prices - you just have to be careful paying import tax. I haven't been caught yet - once there was a sticker on one of my sets stating that I had to pay a customs charge if I wanted my parcel, but my postman just posted it through my letter box.
