Never heard of card candy before. Are they flat backed? I would use tiny glue dots if they are. Glue is too fiddly.

Rustyflange was kind enough to send me some card candy. They're really nice. They aren't flat backed, and can be a little fiddly, but I've been using them for centres of flowers, or just sticking them in the corners of the card. They give a bit of texture without having to make a hole like with a brad. I've just ordered some more in different colours.

Tomsmum, I use mini 3D foam squares to stick card candy and it works well.

Thanks Rainmac, I have printed out some off the computer, first time I have used promarkers with printed images, although I cheated cause I desperately wanted robots so I used a kids colouring page and scaled it down :rotfl: ... sat colouring in just had a quick break as I need to get missy ready to go up the school .....

I am trying the whole potty training outside ... something she could never do, she is dry in the house but wets as soon as we go outside!! :( this morning she didn't though and hoping she won't in ten mins or so!!

Mary hope you are feeling better soon!

Tomsmum - I quoted your post to remind me to reply about the card candy ... but somehow forgot :rotfl: I also use 3d pads ;)

Myz lovely card! hope you are feeling a bit happier soon

Choccy - good luck .... I can imagine you using talc .... poor Trevor will come home to a white house :rotfl:

Fab cards everyone. Will blog comments in a mo.

Rusty I could be tempted by those papers, but I'm still trying to pluck up the courage to press th buy button for the Silhouette Machine :) OH wants to buy it for me.

TomsMum I use 3d foam for sticking card candy and glue dots for flowers and small embellishments.

If I am matting and layering onto glitter card or paper I usually cut out the centre of the glitter card then when I stick the paper on top put a bit of dst in the middle, then if the edges do come unstuck its still attached in the middle. IYKWIM.
  • Ooohh what does a silhouette machine do?

Saucy this is it. I have a cuttlebug and want to buy lots more dies and nesties but my DH thinks it makes more sense to buy this as I will probably never need to buy dies again. But I can argue for and against spending this amount of money plus I really love my cuttlebug.
