I used to do it that way, then at the NEC I saw someone doing it a different way which is so much easier .....

A plate, B plate, Card, Nestie facing down, then C plate ...

you can see what you are cutting ;) ... I always used to hold my plate up in the air to make sure the stamped image was inside the scallop etc it was a nightmare, plus since doing it that way I no longer cut into my C board ;)

Some of the die cutting machines might need adapters for use them, but with nesties you can just use them straight on the bug. you need an A plate a C plate and a B plate which all should have come with your cuttlebug anyway!

I was so upset when i cut into my c plate, i didn't know it did that, I didn't like it as it wasn't perfect anymore.

I screamed when I did it to mine, poor OH has never moved so fast!! Mind you when I first used nesties the noise as then run through is awful, sounds like a cracking noise, I still get it with new nesties! I refused to use mine, then OH had a go and thought he had broke it :rotfl:

  • Flippin' 'eck you lot - a girl goes out for the afternoon and comes back to three pages that she MUST read - phew!!

Thanks for the advice re: glue - so silicone glue for roses and a Sakura glue pen to be added to the list - this cardmaking lark is going to bankrupt me and we're not even out of January :rotfl:

Lovely cards everyone - will do a proper bloghop later.

Hugs to our poorlies Maryop and Myz. Look after yourselves girls.

Love, just adore the digi of the little girl in a strop - I think I'm going to go and cut up my credit card :D.

Okay, time to start on tea. Later peeps, Thriftyxxx
