    Morning Ladies

    Hope everyone is well?

Well our weather is a complete nightmare this morning - more snow in Huddersfield and surrounding area and because it was wet yesterday, it's impossible to drive anywhere today, and normally my OH's car is super on the snow! There's people being pushed everywhere and there's not a chance of trying to get any incline! lol

OH had his endoscopy on Friday - (took him there in a wheelchair because of his sciatica) and they said he's got definitely one ulcer, and possible a second one, but they're not sure about it as it's in an unusual place and quite far down. So they won't know any more until he has his CT scan which is this Wednesday. Then we have to wait for 2 more weeks until he sees the consultant

Anyway, the reason why I'm here is to ask you lovely people if you've any ideas where I can purchase lots and lots of pink butterflies (preferably the wired ones) - they're for wedding stationery order - oh and I need some nice square card blanks too - probably the 5 or 6" ones?

    Thanks everyone again

    Sal

Sal, I too would try ebay for the butterflies and Craftwork Cards for the cards/envelopes. Well done on the order, that's brilliant. Maybe you and your OH can get a production line going ;) Glad OH's endoscopy is out of the way, he's on his way to the doctors sorting him out xxx

Mary, glad you are feeling a bit better. You've given me the idea of making card boxes for mother's day, think it's a fab idea, whether I'll make enough cards to fill a box is another matter :rotfl: :D

    Thank you Flourgirl

You're right, 2 weeks is such a long time and he's fretting about being off work too, as he's never off! lol

I've had a wee look on Ebay for the butterflies but the wired ones don't seem to come in very big quantities, worse luck! lol

I'll have a look on the card site for the blanks, thanks again Flourgirl!

Hi Sal sorry to hear you are having such a carp time at the moment. Your OH sounds in a right pickle, 2 weeks is such a long time when you are not well. At least something positive is bein g done for him.

Congratulations on the order, it might be a good idea to check on ebay for the butterflies. I get my cards from Craftworks Cards, both the plain and the scalloped, they are excellent quality and so good value for money. HTH x

Thank you rainmac & flourgirl - I've looked at it again this morning (should be working!) and am thinking of sticking a ribbon or flowers over the scruffy glue.

Snipped - "It looks great when embossed in the bug. This is what I mean."

Flourgirl that blue card is divine! something for me to aim for........

Louby - Hope your appointments go well and Harry doesn't have to stay in Hospital. Is it only another 2 weeks before you can drive? Think the dies vary going through the bug some feel quite 'stiff' & a cracking noise! Got most of mine local so can't advise but prices are pretty static.

    NOW WORK!

You weren't carp at all, I can't really explain what it is because I'm not really sure, it's one of those things that I'll know it when I see it :p

The party was great, Thomas had a fab time. I've tried adding some pics to Facebook but it doesn't seem to want to play today so will try later x

YAY the first part of my order just came :)
Unfortunately it's things that I need, but I need my other 2 orders to be able to use them, haha.
So I'm feeling a little demotivated now, I really want to get started.

Reception refused to sign for it, which is a little odd, they always sign for parcels :S Might cause trouble later, if they refuse and they don't try to phone me I have to wait 3 days for another delivery attempt.

Did anyone buy the magazine with the free Shaun the Sheep papers etc on it? Is it worth the money? I want it, but it was £8 so I thought I'd wait for it to hit Ebay, but it hasnt!! Shocking :P
