good luck starting out to all the new people! i used to count my cards too. then I lost track of actual numbers! How many do you all reckon you've made? I reckon about 6000 since 2003, I only know because I order cellophanes in bulk (1000's) to sell as it is cheaper that way.

I've made 415 in just over a year  I only know this cause I take pics and number them all though ;) gosh I can't believe its that many actualyl!!

Gemma - Wow! I've made nowhere near that many - wonder if I can work it out, a dozen challenges on here, a dozen SOS cards, a few family birthdays, & Christmas cards? I need to work faster & actually make rather than think about making them - I can say though, that I've got better.

Mary-op & flourgirl - tea was lovely, my butcher sells a lamb shank and I do it in the slow cooker with onion, carrots, potato, celery if I've got it, tin of tomatoes, and a dollop of mint sauce which helps diffuse the fat.

Jazabelle - Your cards are super.

Rainmac - belated 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' to your little one hope he had a brilliant day.

I wish I'd taken photos of them all so I could remember half the designs :rotfl:
    :Tthat is an amazing amount!

helpinghubby - i make so many because i make one design and then re-produce it 20 times, then another. Im not adventurous, I just make what sells! Can get boring, but I have scrapping for creativity!

  • Hello everyone :)
I've decided to take up card making and scrapbooking seriously, as I need to keep myself busy (I got my formal diagnosis of fibromyalgia today). I placed two big orders yesterday, one with Glitter Pot and one with Mad About Cards, and I can't wait for them to come. I paid for priority picking, but the snow stopped it being done today :(

Anyway, I wanted to say hi everyone :)
    Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:

Saucysecrets - are they all your embossing folders I am looking at on Ebay? lol... only have a couple of folders so was looking for more...

Re: fibro my thoughts are with you- was diagnosed with M.E. in 1994 after 2 years of faff by docs meaning maybe I wouldn't have got worse if they hadn't *rolls eyes* and although I'm miles better now it seems to be getting the better of me last year- hopefully this year will be better. :) In fact one doc diagnosed me with M.E. and another M.E. with fibro so not entirely sure whether you can have both or whether they are hedging their bets lol

The kids have gone back to school today, so in between working, I have managed to do another thank you card. Really happy with the result, and have loved making my last 2 cards using different sketches.

Great first cards Jazabelle. I love the pink one and the image on the second. Well done :T.

Rainmac - Hope Thomas had a great birthday yesterday, and he enjoys his party at the weekend.

Wow Gemm – making 415 in just over a year is amazing. All this chat about how many cards you’ve made, I have just had a count up and in the last 13 months, since I started making cards I’ve done 183. I can’t believe I have done that many, or how I’ve found the time to do them but I am impressed! Would hate to try to work out how many hours it has taken me though or how much it has cost me, as I’m pretty sure it would have cost less if I had bought that many!

    Welcome to the thread SaucySecrets.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

can't believe we have all made so many cards in a year I've just gone and counted my photos I've made 336 plus a few that I didn't take photos of.
