Good News!! Heating hasn't completely failed so been warm tonight once DH got it going but there's definitely something wrong - he thinks more with the controls than the boiler. Will have to see what happens when we get up tomorrow. WHY wouldn't he let me call our Corgi Boiler man???? He may have been able to come first thing tomorrow. Men!!!

Jazabelle - If you've got a decent printer you can find 'free' papers to print yourself. Can only think of 'funky fairy' & 'raspberry road' at the moment but there are loads out there.

Lei - sorry to hear about your gran - hope her move to private Hospital goes OK and she gets well very soon.

Will blog hop & comment tomorrow ladies - off to bed now!

I've been a very busy girl today! I've taken the tree down and packed it away, sorted through the kids clothes so that I've got the room to put all their new clothes away and for the last few hours Elliot has been helping me to sort through my papers and card. My Mum bought me a huge storage box for my papers, so I've sorted some of them into manufacturers and then I've sorted my bazzill cardstock into colours - how dull am I?? Then they've all been put into bags. she also got me a unit on wheels that holds 6 a4 sized boxes so I'm gradually filling that with bits and bobs.

Sally - I hope your OH feels better soon.

Rusty - I'm glad you found a bargain in those links!! I don't think you're being unreasonable at all - you're just looking out for your son. I can't believe your ex failed to mention that he was moving in with his girlfriend! Glad to hear that your dd behaved herself at school - I always panick when the teachers ask to speak to me at the end of the day - I automatically think my kids have been naughty - but they never have!

Rainmac - beautiful card - those papers look stunning against the black cardstock.
I ordered the pad too - I'm trying to make a birthday card for the m-i-l with them at the minute!

Palema - sounds like you got some bargains from Lakeland - I don't think we've got one near me. I've never used a photo on a card before - but I know a lot of people on here have - the cards always look fantastic.

Marg - glad to hear that you're feeling better - I hope you manage to get your heating fixed!

Flourgirl - Venice looks lovely - I've never been. I love the night pictures and that cake shop looks fabulous! Your challenge card is very classy.

Mary - your box sounds great - I'm sure she'll love it!

Ali - your cards are lovely - I really like those biscuit stickers.

Gemm - your welcome - did you buy anything????

Dragonflew - great cards - I think my favourite is the butterfly catcher - such a cute image. I think I might have to buy some of those fairy doodles stamps.

Myzdamena - lovely card - the decoupage looks really effective.

Ct19720 - your OH's card is fab - you must be a good teacher!!!! Your challenge card is very pretty and your craft robo card is stunning!!!!!

Wam - your valentines day display looks fab - what do you sell in your shop?????

Thriftyscotslass - I can't believe that's your first ever card - its fantastic - really lovely colours!!!

Jazabelle - welcome to the thread - it sounds like you've bought loads of really useful things! Keep checking the thread for links to sales and offers and if there's anything in particular that you're after - just ask! I tend to use loads of flowers and brads on my cards, and have a huge stash of coloured card and pretty papers. Most of us on here have a blog - there's tons of inspiration on them and if you see any products that you like we can tell you where to get them!

Lei-Armstrong - sorry to hear about your Gran - I hope she gets better soon. I love your swirly card - the colours look really pretty together.

Rainmac Good Luck with your letter writing x

How have you all managed to get free ribbons!! you lucky things. I have registered my email now so hope I get to know when the next challenge is. I have had loads of ribbons from them and they are lovely quality. I didn't really need anymore but managed to spend £9, its too easy to spend when they accept paypal!!

Flourgirl - I follow their blog, or rather recieve email updates every time there is a new post to view. you can do that by using this link. They have tutorials on there on how to make pretty flowers with their ribbons and stuff! :D

Unplug it from the back of the box?? that will make it work lol.

Well have managed to catch up a bit,

Rainmac - Good luck with your letter writing!! I think it is completely crazy but know it is happening with a few people up here, they are reviewing my friends case as she lives 5 minute walk away from me, but she is in a different catchment area and they want her to take her 2 children out of the school  however she has told them that she is living with her in laws (house opposite mine) so hopefully she can stay there!

Jazabelle - Welcome to the madhouse, I am not going to add anything to everyone elses suggestions as you have the basics covered and if we gave you a whole list of things they you would have to be a millionaire as this thread costs so much money rather than being MSE :rotfl:

WAM - Where are you based?

    Argh I can't remember everyones posts!! ....

Some absolutely beautiful cards posted on blogs, I need to try and make the sketch today but not sure if I can be bothered lol.

I spoke to my ex on sunday when I picked up DS and he was a lot calmer, apparently in february he is coming up with his girlfriend and they are taking DS a few hours earlier than the scheduled time as per court order (I didn't register what he had said til after we had driven off .... so yet again he is demanding and changing the court order details .... might just book them flights to Bulgaria for my desired dates in April, see how he likes it!) Anyway I decided to stop being so annoyed at him and just try and get on with it, DS would have told me anyway as one of the first things he said to me when he got in the car was my dad is moving in with his girlfriend! Good luck to them both, she is a better woman than me if she can live with him :rotfl:

Melissa it is a wonderful job to have but I am only in a small village so don't get very busy. So it is quite scary. Not put too much money in but need to restock already and it's a bit tight. So lots of worry but like I said it is wonderful.
Rusty I am in a village called Yatton which is near Bristol. I have an e-bay shop as well but don't think you can post links here.
Trying to get rid of my xmas stock at the mo so I can buy some nice new goodies.
Going to try Rainmacs challenge card today. Hope it hasn't finished yet. Only done one challenge before and that was ages ago. I never seem to find the time to actually take everything in and get things done but this year with my lifestyle change I plan to get loads done! So something new again.
I bought a digi image from here http://karensdoodles.blogspot.com/ that I liked so will try and use that too.
