Hello all :j
Been busy taking decorations down -I swear it took me longer than it did putting them up
Still, done now, all put away till next time.............cards all sorted out into piles of those to keep (family ones and ones that have been hand made) -the rest I've cut off the bits I can salvage for this years Christmas cards............might save me a bob or two.........thats the general idea anyway.
lei - OH is as stubborn as they come............but today he says he feels a lot better -why do men do thatJust when they've got you to that 'tearing the hair out' stage decide they're not that bad after all and no need to panic/rush/ring paramedics.........
melissa - Maybe MIL will love my box..............trouble is...........I love it too..............:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hello and welcome to all the newbies :hello:
Hope anyone feeling ill gets better soon xx
I haven't made any cards since before Christmas as I had to tidy my stash away so we could have dinner in the dining room :rotfl:0 -
where on earth does the time go? I hadn't realised I had been away from here for so long:eek: I have two big projects on the go at tjhe moment which are time consuming:
I always make a calendar with photos from the previous year (ie photos from Jan 2009 in Jan 2010) and have been doing that the last few days. because there are quite a few photos it takes forever to do so that is taking me ages. I have almost given up on August as there are so many photos and it takes ages!
I have also decided to do a cross stitch picture for my friends babys christening. i am not sure when it will be but as her mum is a vicar it won't be long so have to work on it everyday.
welcome to all the newbies
there are some fab things and some great challenge cards. i made a card from the sketch for my brothers birthday but forgot to take a photo so will have to make another.
flourgirl thank you so much for my card - I love, the image! I received it just as you were off to Venice so thought i would thank you later. I have just realised I hadn't. So pleased you had a good time - I would love to go there.

Glad you got your card bunbun, the image was a freebie
Sounds like you have set yourself a big task with the calendars. I haven't got one yet for this year and keep writting bits on card and sticking it up on the boiler lol. I suppose I could print off the MSE Old Style one each month.
Is your OH a teacher?0 -
Rusty you should photograph your snowman with the kids ready for your family christmas cards for this year0

Thanks everyone for the heads up on cosmo cricket. I had never heard of it.
Ddraig thanks for the crossed fingers and toes. I need it!! Think you have to have a business account if your buying retail. Some people manage with a normal account if not selling too much. There are other benefits to the account. It's set out in a different way to make organising easier and I think the fee's are slightly different. Not sure yet if it is a good way but cetainly is good for people to find you. You can then link to your website. I've not done this yet as my site isn't ready but hope to soon.
Rusty Thanks for pm, have replied.
We didn't get enough snow here to play. Don't forget to take photo's of your snowmen, make nice xmas cards for next year. xxWould love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)0 -

yes OH is a teacher. he has just moved schools and when it snows Consett is always bad and schools are closed. So he has had an extended holiday although I did drag him to Tesco, Matalan and home bargains!!
I only have August left to do and I keep getting an insufficient memory message:eek: I told OH that this year we will not go away and then I won't have so many photos!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
