LOL, im am sat here reading this saying to DF i need to take the cards down and trim them up for next year. His reply:

''bloody hell i thought you starting to shop in may was bad enough''

I writing down a monthly list of al special dates and birthdays so i can give myself enough time to make cards and buy items that i might need instead of leaving it till the last minute.

And i thought our new house wouldnt be big enough for me to have a craft room but our bedroom is twice the size of our old room so DF is making me an office in 1 corner with all my stash in, he says it keeps me quiet so he can play on the PS3.

I really need some nice papers, all the places i look i already seem to have and there a bit boring and plain.

I ruined 1 of my promarkers the other day, we have a black and white lampsahde that used to be in the front room, its lovely and i didnt want to get rid of it when we moved, so i decided that as the stairs were a mild green that i would colour some of the detail on the lampshade to match which i thought was very MSE of me, but it ruined the promarker tip even though i was being gentle. I love the shade though it looks very effective and a new promarker is definately cheaper than a new lampshade.

Really need to update my blog and look at everyone else's but that might have to wait a few days till im more organised.

Princesswoo i am gonna have to start making 2010's Christmas cards soon as it was all a bit last minute with me! I am gonna do a few cheat ones and use gift tags as the image on them and already have some in for next year so I can start soon if necessary! Saw some from a coupke of people on here and loved the idea so definitely one to try for 2010!

I made quite a few cards from the poundland gift tags and covered the hole with a brad or ribbon, matted and layered with card and glitter card, they were so easy and looked really nice. They are on my blog here if you want to look. I had a production line going everything cut out ready and the ATG gun loaded, and hey presto it didn't take long to make a pile of cards. I will definately be doing some more for 2010.
  • Morning (just!) everyone.

I haven't gone back over the many pages that have appeared on here - will just say that I hope everyone had a fabulous CHristmas with everything that they wished for.

We got back from Eurodisney last night - we all had a fabulous time, The boys are now relaxing on the Wii and I am just popping out for a few essentials and then hope to clear my craft desk so tha I can decide what I need in the sales!

I must say a public thanks to Whoopidoo for her most fabulous gifts - I hope to make something special out for them one day - for now I am content with just looking at them! If I can get things straight enough over the next couple of days might even attempt a card - it seems eons since I've made anything non CHristmassy!

glittermum glad you had a fab time in Disneyland:j

I have just received my copy of docrafts creativity. there is a feature on the honey and hugs range. It looks fab and they have made some great things with it.
they are also promoting the craft for life campaign - make a card for cancer research. I think I will be brave and make at least one - more if I can get extra bags. I have never made a card to sell before and not sure...it might just sit there unsold:D

Thanks FG you were one of the people I [STRIKE]nicked[/STRIKE] borrowed the idea from and Popkins! I only actually made one 'tag card' this year and it went to Craftygranny with her Alicia package! I did it for speed as I was so late sending off the parcel!

Still thinking about the ATG so thanks for the link would definitely make it quicker for next year!
