Has anyone seen these stampabilities stamps at a price a tad cheaper? or with free postage or anything else??

Oyster stamps a bit cheaper, about 50p per stamp.

    Some at Sassy Crafts.

Everyone, how about we kick off the new year with a card challenge on here??? We could start now and run it for a couple of weeks. How about following a sketch - the one below - with the theme of "anything but a Christmas card"?

Hi rainmac - I have been lurking here for a while - I was supposed to be making Christmas cards and needless to say they're all still sitting in a box AARGH. It's my BIL birthday in January and I've been looking for some inspiration to get me off my butt and get his card made (need to post it to Oz) and you've just gave me a virtual kick in the backside :D. Going home tonight to make his card using your challenge idea

    Thanks

I've done it :j. After spending the morning reading the new Creativity magazine that the postie brought today (great issue by the way!), I decided I'd use the new papers I'd bought from The Glitter Pot's sale - well I couldn't start using the Christmas stamps I also bought, it's a bit too early :rotfl: .

So I've done a card for Rainmac's challenge and here it is. Sorry I can't post it here, don't have a photo hosting site thingy (very techie aren't I ) so I can only put it on my blog.
  • Afternoon everyone. I haven`t been on here for absolutley ages:o, with one thing and another and sorry to say I haven`t got around to reading what everyone`s been upto yet, so I will do my best to keep up with you lot.

Hope you all had a great christmas and enjoy the new year`s celebrations. We`ve been kept busy with visitors and general running about, as you do over the chrimbo period, so looks like i`ll be doing abit of detoxing when the kids go back to school. Way toooo much booze  and food:D as usually, but what fun it was and it`s not finished yet.

A BIG BIG thank you to padstar for the lovely stamps for my christmas swap. I`m absolutley chuffed to bits and can`t wait to use them.

Hope you are all well and speak very soon.

    Hi everyone!
I'm a card making virgin lol! I've just been very kindly pointed in this direction. I had posted another thread about recommendations on the cricut - I saw an advert the other day and loved the look of it.
I've not done cardmaking/scrapbooking yet but would really love to (and think my 3 year old would love trying to help!)
I started to look into the clutterbug also (I'm sure thats the right name!)
I'm judt wondering how expensive it all ends up costing also.
I've had a quick look through some of these posted and everyones cards look so great - would love to be able to come up something half a good and be so pleased!
I guess at the moment its just slightly daunting, dies etc (still not really getting my head around it all yet lol!)
Can anyone give me some advise, your top buys etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
    Thanks in advance
