Mary-op - Maybe you could cut & paste my 'blog award' & insert your own replies. Soo glad Mr Mary is feeling better (the relief from our worst fears will help)

    CT19720 - Thanks I found it.

Quote "Margarine/Ali b – I feel the same about my cards. One of the ladies I talk to at the Stay and Play session I take the minded children to, brought hers to show me and I told her I couldn’t show her any of mine. The words I used are hers are hand made and mine are more homemade (if that makes sense)."

Nannyboo - Perfect sense to me! I like your description fits me like a glove.

Popkins - In case I forget or don't get back on here Have a wonderful 40th birthday.

I don't burn stuff very often, but burnt homemade meat pie and jacket potates are not nice :p. Luckily I managed to not burn it, and it was delicious :D x
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

    Good Morning Everyone

    How are you all?

I'm here to ask for some help again please

I've been asked to do a Golden Wedding card for a work colleague's parents and I've been out to the range this morning but I cannot for the life of me find any nice embellishments or word sentiments - you know like Happy Golden Wedding or Congratulations on Your Golden Wedding - has anyone got any suggestions or ideas please?

Oh and another thing - has anyone seen any Christmas Sentiments for relatives - like Happy Christmas Mum, To A Wondeful Brother etc? Basically the same as you'd expect to find on a bought card?

    Thanks ladies!

    Sal

Amused me too!! Thanks for digi links.

Sally - Could you print some of your own words in a nice typeface, cut & stick, maybe with pads? if you've got time to wait I could always send you some - they come out a dull gold, though. Or if it appeals, for your Christmas cards. Let me know what words, colour, size style & I'll have a go.

I agree with Marg make your own. I once needed a background on friendship and couldn't find one so I made my own in a word document printed it off and covered it in embossing powder immediately and then heated it up. Worked fine. Might be worth a try.

    Hi everyone,

I hope you don't mind me dropping in but I have been a very long-time lurker to this board and had a quick question. I have just had an email from craftsuperstore saying that their Big SHot Machine is £49.99 and I'm considering asking santa for one but wanted some epxert advice as to whether it is worth getting.

I have been card crafting on and off for the past few months and have also just got into scrap-booking and have found both very therapeutic during a very trying year for me.

I have enjoyed crafting so much that I'm now starting to invest in some decent kit and this would be my first 'big' purchase. I would be very grateful for some helpful advice

    xx
