anyone heard from Cazarol? She's my CP prezzie swapper and I just don't know what to get her

sorry wifey haven't seen her around since last month when she was my card swapee x
  • I wanted to get my nieces birthday card done for jan before bubs comes but i need a velcro fastener type thing so it can open and be closed but i can't find anything. I didn't really want to go out shopping but i think the only place will be a wilkos won't it?

Could you use a piece of DST on one side and piece of normal tape on the other or even a sticky pad and a normal piece of tape.
I've used that on handbag cards before and it works fine HTH :D

  • thanks, it is a handbag that i am doing. Will that look ok? without doing it i can't imagine how it would look sorry. I don't want the paper to rip as she opens it and i fear it would.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30
    but i want never gets!!!
  • Louby could you close it with a paper fastener and a loop of ribbon or elastic?

glad you did better at the latest fair

"& son" has finally got around to updating his blog with the present and card he made for rainmac's birthday. Piccies here.

He only realised as he was updating his blog that there had been a slight spelling mistake on the gift but I said that no-one else would notice

And I'm even more tardy than he is - mine's here!

My workmates all think we're crazy - What does it say about you when your child thinks its acceptable to send a cake decorations tub with some ribbon on as a gift? :o

Have spent the day making more cards which I have loaded up onto my blog.
Have been reading blogs but just not got time to comment at the moment as my to do list seems to be getting longer each day.
Can I ask what everyone has made as teacher presents? as need to do for 8 teachers! so any suggestions of quick things would be good.

Hiya - its probably not much help but "&son" is making his own. I bought a plain clipboard and he's decorating it. One less thing to worry about (although its not without stress with all the glitter, glue, etc.

well done on your craft fair louby, bet you are glad you decided to go now! :)
  • Well done Louby - still can't believe you did it at pretty much 9 months pregnant!
  • Well done Louby - it's odd how different that one was - my handbag was card rather than covered in paper so don't know if it would rip the paper.

I did clipboards - although 2 of them were made from mountboard rather than plastic ones and covered them with paper on the front and stuck a post it note pad and a calendar on them then did a diary added a pen wrapped them in tissue and stuffed them in a gift bag - pics on my blog - fortunately there were only 4!

Have day off today so am incredibly busy - have already ironed all OH's shirts and put them away - well he did need one to go to work in :rotfl:. Window guys came to swap the 2 dodgy units so suppose I'll have to pay them now :o. Yes I was wearing the infamous penguins again and took DD to school in them this morning although she wouldn't let me get out the car :rotfl::rotfl:
