Thanks for posting the link dawnteabag, I want some.

Before I order though, do these work in the cuttlebug, as that is all I have, and do I need to get anything else for it to make them work in the bug. Funny how we all want different ones, I want lipstick love letters!

not too sure CT, the one I ordered said it was a Sizzlits Decorative strip alphabet but for £3 plus postage I just thought I'd order it and figure out how to use it when it arrives!

The lipstick one looks great, it says it works in the Sidekick machine and the dies for that one are just under 3" square. I borrowed some Sizzlits dies from a friend a while ago, which worked great in my cuttlebug, and the only thing she has is a sidekick so I'm _pretty_ sure the lipstick set would be compatible, don't take my word for it though!

Edit: wow just looked again and am I right in thinking that the letters for the Lipstick set are 1 7/8 inches tall? seems huge to me!

Thanks Gemm, I better go a measure 1 7/8", cos that sound big to me too. If that is the case I might get 2 sets - 1 big and one little.

Can anyone else confirm how these work in the cuttlebug please.

    Thanks

They do work in the cuttlebug - I have bloom and cattycorner. You don't need anything extra for them to work but you might want to check the sandwich before you use tem.
The only prob I've ad is that with my alphabets being quite thin and twirly, they're sometimes a bit tricky to remove from the card.

from memory though you can't use the biqz dies in the cuttlebug - I'm sure I read that on the sizzix website once before but can't see it now so could be wrong
  • Sizzlits in cuttlebug are the same sandwich as cuttlebug dies - A + B + Die face up + card + B (scabby cutting one :rotfl:).

I sometimes have to add an extra layer of card between A and B or run them through a couple of times but they work fine :D.

Not sure how you'll get on with the decorative strip as the die is about 11 inches long - I have a sidekick plus the extra long plates as well so can use both :c)
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Thanks DTB for the info. The Lipstick Love Letters, are huge, so may have to rethink that one. I quite like the Bloom alphabet too but it says that each die is 2 1/8" tall, cos the lipstick ones are smaller, but only just. DTB are they really this big when cut? When you sent me the lovely notebook in the CP swap what did you use to cut the word 'Notes'.

    Sorry for all the questions

Thanks for letting me know what the sandwich is Paddingtondoo. I too have a very scabby 'B' plate.

I think it was probably Catty Corner I used (altho - to be fair I've made 40 ish notepads so my memory is a little hazy.

The bloom alphabet comes with lower and upper case letters - the lower case ones are obviously smaller . I think they're great for scrapbooking but they might be a bit big for card-making.

I've posted some pics on my blog so you can see what bloom is actually like. Sadly I had no pre-cut cattycorner ones and am unable to work my cuttlebug this evening after falling down the stairs this morning and hurting my hands and wrists.

The pics are taken on a cutting mat measured in inches so you should be able to get a reasonable idea. On each die you get an upper and lowe case letter and they all come in a lvely storage box.

    Piccies here

    hope this helps!

Thanks so much DTB - you are a star, and I'm going to order the Lipstick one, and if I need to I will just use the lower case ones, but your piccies have given me an idea of the real size, so thanks again.

Sorry to hear you have had a fall. Hope you're not in too much pain and make a quick recovery. (((Hugs)))

    I'm fine - just a bit achy.

"& son" was a star - he saw me fall and rushed over to check I was ok. Then I was ordered to sit still on the stairs whilst he went to get some kitchen roll (?????). He came back with some wet kitchen roll and told me that would reduce the swelling and make it feel better. Bless him.
