No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Well we are taking mum to see a friend tomorrow. The friend lives at Worksop so hubby and me are dropping my mum and off to Clumber Park as there is a Craft Fayre on so I am off to see if I can buy three crackers for Christmas Day and see what else I can find to pick up to finish off Christmas pressies.
Then I think we will have a trip to Edwinstowe craft village where there is a craft shop. I am thinking if they sell Cuttlebugs I am going to treat myself to one as all your rave reviews for them have convinced me I need one. Kate :hello:0 -
Lei_Armstrong - your rudolph card is stunning - I too love his nose - a really special card!!!! Great easel card too - its really clever how you've created the pond
Helping_hubby - I always copy and paste my replies - I somehow managed to copy the word "preparation" - that's how I managed to loose everything - I don't know how I managed to do it!!!!.
Rusty - I think your xmas easel cards are great - the paper is lovely! Thanks so much for my images - did you see there's some new Kraftin' Kimmie stamps getting released tomorrow!
Tomsmum - your house sounds gorgeous! I'm sorry to hear about your OH - fingers crossed he'll be home for xmas.
Myzdamena - I have a bind-it-all and I love it!!! I think there are minor differences between the blue and pink one - like you can cut things that are a little bit thicker with the pink one. I have the blue one and have no intention of upgrading to the pink one. The covers and pages that you can buy for it are really expensive so I don't buy them Instead I use scraps of card - like that off cereal boxes or I buy sheets of chipboard which is much cheaper. For the notebooks that I've just made I have used coasters. For the inner pages of my notebooks I just cut up cheap copier paper. My biggest tip though is not to buy the smallest wires - the 1/2 or 3/8 inch ones - they are too small to do much with so go for the bigger sizes. Also I don't bother buying the packs of six wires I just buy the individual strips. If you need to know anything else just ask!! Take a look on my blog - there's a few bits on there that I've made with it - including my "stupid box".

The-Wife - how did it go today???? I am so jealous - I sam she had posted the details of what you were going to make today on her blog - the stuff looks gorgeous!!!!!

Hello all
Done nothing today (well having said that did make some more 'primitive' hearts from a pair of kitchen curtains). Had to do something sitting down............had lousy night last night coughing and snortling, kept OH awake..............GP yesterday gave me prescription -just waiting for it to kick in now............it's wearing me out. Not been too bad most of the day but just had dinner (taste buds all odd so didn't fancy much) and blow me, just started hacking away again:eek:
This rate I'll be sleeping down here tonight...........
Oh well, can only get better...................:rolleyes:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

thanks all, thumb is a little better after the initial shock but still throbbing and very oozy. OH has played nurse and dressed it up for me lol and he's even cooking the dinner! (if you can call putting a pizza in the oven cooking...!)0

Evening ladies - you sure can talk you lot!
I did my craft fair today, made £100 which I am absolutely thrilled about. Flannel reindeer were by far my best seller. It was in a nice village, but Ithink the average age was about 90 - most of the people's grandchildren were too old to appreciate all the Christmas bits! I am pleased that I've got just about enough stuff left to use for some orders I've had from work - so i's all cards from now on for while - yay!
Mrs Bs Blog -thank you for all my lovely stash by the way - hope you've got yours now?
Hugs to everyone who needs them x0 -
Free postage here at modscraps this weekend if you spend over a tenner - sorry can't post a link as it comes up with my details!!!!0

Gemm - Ouch! be careful with the litter trays as they can be nasty, I know you are not supposed to breathe in any of the dust!! I reckon your OH should change it for a few days til it has scabbed over.
Flourgirl - Glad they arrived safely. If you need anymore just shout I didn't want to send too many cause I wasn't sure how many you wanted.
Paddingtondoo - Thankyou for my lovely card, it is beautiful!!!
Glittermum - Well done on your craft fair!! thats a fab amount of money and just before christmas too!!
Well I grabbed an hour to craft earlier, managed to make 5 cards, 4 x christmas and 1 for valentines day  was lovely to do something not christmassy and not every day though!! They are on my blog. I also had a phone call for a nappy cake for the local wilkos this week which is always good news! I want to go do more crafting but I have a lego firestation to rebuild  Maybe I can persuade OH that I need to craft instead!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Evening all, just catching up on about 5 pages!! wow!! At my mums last night (no computer!! aargh) then been on a bus trip with her church to York - oh my god! what a nightmare - it was heaving and queues everywhere for everything (toilets, to pay, to get in shops etc) - cant cope with things like that!! Anyway couple of craft fairs on v. poor in the card department - hoping to get ideas but no chance- did see a whole stall just selling sock monkeys from £7- had seen better though on MSE!!
Cant really remember all that I have read my medicinal wine is kicking in!! But hugs to those who are poorly or fallen or injured themselves (I knew pringles where the devils work;)) . Louise -you have been busy - your cross stitch is amazing!! lei - love your card!!:T
