  • The_Wife - I'm so glad you had a fab time - are the paper trey products as lovely as they look??? I hope you are going to post some pics of what you made!!!!

Rusty - I've got a bag of lego I need to make up to - trouble is our house is too small for ds to be able tp play with it all. Your xmas card is really pretty - very delicate!

Louise - great men's cards - love the black and white together and your xmas cards are fab too!!

    Rainmac - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
  • They're great HH - how about this freebie digi from Pollycraft? You can make it any size you like then. There are loads of other freebies on there as well but thought that one would kind suit your vintage card.

Couple more cards on my blog - one is very pink again but that's what happens when you get a pack of paper for £1.50 lol!

Thanks Paddington. Unfortunately I do not have a working printer yet. And I tried printing some digis that someone emailed me at work but they looked rubbish because our the toner is running out so it's all streaky.

I have however had a few brain waves in the night. Sometimes it's all you need is a break to come up with an idea. I've got a small reindeer stamp and a separate sleigh stamp and I thought to make it bigger I could do 2 or 3 reindeers pulling the sleigh. And I'm going to be really ambitious and see if I can put string/cotton for the reins.

To get around the lopsided half moon card, I'm going to put a paper insert inside, in 2 colours like the front, making the left side heavier!

@Rusty - I love your lace tree card. When you say 'inked' do you ink it directly from ink pads? I'm sure I've tried something similar in the past and failed miserably getting ink over the non embossed parts.

I have some chalks: http://www.clickoncrafts.co.uk/papermania-shimmer-chalks-festive.ir?cName=mark-making-ink-pads "shimmer chalks". They came in the July goody bag. Anyone know what I do with these? I worry they will come off and smudge too.

@rainmac - Happy Birthday!! Hope you have a great day.

    Happy Cakeday Rainmac!

Isn't this gorgeous? A cake for everyone so rainmac doesn't have to worry about cutting it.

Actually I posted this cake for two reasons, most importantly 'cos it's Rainmac's birthday

Also I am sure this will be good practice for me with the All England and Essex Cake diving competition coming up. I'll leave the top tier for Rainmac's family and then I'll do a triple cherry flip down to the third level and then a back flip in the piked position and then a belly flop into the star fish cake on the bottom.
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

with all these scor-pals around I am starting to think I might need one. everyone was buying them at the NEC but I didn't think it was something I wanted back then - but now I am thinking I might change my mind! I already have a pink Dovecraft scoring board, whats the advantages of the scor pal over the one I already have?
