Not card related, but does anyone know where I can get one of these from but one that has 6 hooks on for 6 stockings, either on the net or from a shop.

    Thanks
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Gemm, once you've got your scor-pal scoring cards become a doddle. With the board, especially the metric you will be able to crease your card without measuring with just a gentle mark on the card and them cut it. No more rulers. Also the swing cards and anything like a trifold is easy. You'll be able to make boxes, bags and so much more.

Having had the imperial and the metric as soon as it was available the best advice I can give is check out the scor-pal website for loads of inspiration. They are a sponsor of splitcoaststampers and there is a link there. Sign up for the scor-pal email letter that comes through almost daily to look at other people blogs for things they have made. Have a look here too as Kitty Franken does the tutorials for the Scor-pal website. You'll put every other scoring board awy after getting this and the metric scor-mat is also now in the UK. Gotta find me a supplier, if anyone finds it in stock, please let me know.

Should be in stock here on Friday - do I need one of these as well? if so why?
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Rusty - I love your card. How did you do the colouring? please?

@Rusty - I love your lace tree card. When you say 'inked' do you ink it directly from ink pads? I'm sure I've tried something similar in the past and failed miserably getting ink over the non embossed parts.

    Marg & Helping hubby -
I just inked straight onto the embossing, I used a whispers ink pad (99p) and I also tried my more expensive inks (memento dew drops and full size) however the more expensive ones looked rubbish and just decided to bleed all over the card!! But I just pressed lightly with the whispers, if you turn your ink pad as you do it then you can keep most of the pad away from the none embossed bits!

Plain?? Are you serious? Any more and it would look too busy - it's great as it is :)

Thankyou Louise, lovely cards on your blog!! I love the cars, where did you get them from?

You will sooooo wish you never asked this question - I and several others use promarkers - cheapest place online is Joanna Sheen - Rusty has a major addiction :p

Who me?? :o:o I am not sure I know what you mean :rotfl: I need to buy some more ... I haven't had any new ones since the NEC!

I did take this the other week though ... oh and this isn't all of them! :D

thanks for the scor-pal advice all- guess I do need one then! I must admit cutting the swing cards on my crappy dovecraft board was a bit tedious as I had to measure with a ruler and mark the right lengths with a pencil. not desperate for one though so might wait until I see a good deal. I'm a metric girl so think I'll go for that one ;) Does it come with a scoring tool?

my thumb isn't much better today, I cant believe such a small injury can be so painful! I had a hellish game this morning trying to remove my old plaster as the spongy bit had bonded to the wound  I've never been a nail biter so my nail beds go right to the end of my finger which I think is why it hurts so much  maybe this is a good reason to start chomping my nails lol - or I'll just sue pringles :D

No, no, no, no don't chomp your fingers.:naughty: I'm a terrible nail biter and my hands look horrible. Wish I could stop, tried everything even that yucky coating stuff but I still do it.

Gemm Yep! It comes with its own scoring tool that sits at the top of the board. The Paper Craft Company is where I bought my metric board, no problems with them at all. Thanks for the info, Padster.

Rusty, the choccy cake is to die for, you're so clever! Defo one to dive into and not surface for half an hour. Can I eat cake and not breathe, hmmm, worth a try!
