Am trying to remember where you are I know you are near to me (terrible memory). There is the one at Tetney, One in Grimsby near Freshney place but a really small shop, used to be a good one in Brigg but not sure if it is still there and the garden centre there stock some (similar to the Range stuff) but has gone down hill recently there is also one at Goole but no idea where it is or what it is like. Are there any in Hull I know there used to be but haven't been in years. Am still trying to persuade hubby to take me to the new Hobbycraft at Hull but I have no chance this close to Christmas

Oooh if hes coming watching a match, come with him.. Theres a big Hobbycraft and The Range right near the ground.... I can pop there too and keep you company :D

Thanks for the info skiergirl, i'm in surey so horsham is about 20 minutes away. Was it worth a look, and do you know if things are cheaper on the website or do they have offers in store.

    Thanks again x

It was nice to go and see the stuff, but I'm not sure I'd go again, unless there was something I really wanted to see in the 'flesh' before I bought it. It was all the same price as on the website and so it may cost less in petrol than in P & P IYSWIM x

Hello all - still busy as always.

craftygranny - I'll get your cards posted off tomorrow (sorry, forgot yesterday:rolleyes:)

Now.........please, please,............knickers inside out, anything you like but its much needed.
OH didn't tell me yesterday when he got home from hospital (didn't feel like talking about it)but there's definitely something 'unwanted' lurking in the lung area......just a case of whether its benign or malignant  So, we need every prayer there is going, candles lit galore, everything inside out.........and anything else anyone can think of that can make the result the one we want...........that all he's got is a bit of useless debris that needs coming out..........thats what we're hoping anyway. Either way he's going to have to go into hospital -shan't know when or for how long till next week.

There..............haven't I just put the bloomin' dampener on everything again..................sorry :o (memo to self............be more positive about all things)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • Thanks for the info on craft shops - may go have a look round then come back and order on line :c)

Fingers crossed for Mr Mary - couldn't wear anything inside out today as I had to go to the hospital :p. Have yet more exercises but am still banned from cleaning windows :rotfl:. Hoovering is fine though :D.

Skier I'll let you be an honorary Chelsea fan for the day but will blame you if they lose - shouldn't have thought it was likely though ;)

Anyhoo - I'm Debbie 42 and live right near the Humber Bridge (south end) with OH and DD who is 9 going on 19! DS is 12 and lives with his dad and DSD and DSS are 20 and almost 18 and live in Scotland. I work part time for the council and do 2 days in the call centre and 3 from home although I think they're trying to stop that but haven't found an excuse to do so yet and neither will they if I have my way. We have a cat loads of fish and 20 odd budgies at the bottom of the garden in the shed so we can't hear them :D. I'm very shy in real life but no probs rattling away on here and am slightly bonkers (all DDs friends would agree with me on that one). Oh and I have a bear addiction :p:p
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
