Mary, so glad you finally got an appointment, blooming ridiculous that nobody seemed to be able to help you until you mentioned complaining  . Am thinking of you and Mr Mary lots xxx

flourgirl, I am worried that I have thrown my paper out by accident but have searched through the bin a few times (with gloves I hasten to add)as I have everywhere else and they do not seem to be anywhere  Hmmm, if they don't show by the end of next week going to have to re-order I think? I do have 12x12 Eskimo Kisses paper so that will have to do me for now ;) I bought a coat in the Per Una sale yesterday, a black jacket with removeable hood and sleeves reduced from £65 to £29. I love it. It's a bit shorter than I would have liked (OH said, "well that won't keep your bum warm in the cold weather...") but I really like it.

Marg, DS2's cough and cold are much better today thank you but DS1 has come home from school today with a stinking cold bless him. He's got 2 parties over the weekend so I hope he is improved after a night's sleep.

Off to watch some telly and hopefully make a couple of cards xxx

    I need HELP

I have finally finished my 'star' card but cannot get it to upload any ideas. Doing it straight from the computer is taking forever so presuming it is too big. So have put them on photobucket but still not working

    any ideas anyone please

Nannyboo you can resize in paint using the stretch/skew option and then use attributes to chop the white bits off or there is a really easy to use program called pix resizer which resizes photos for you at the click of a button, it's free, it downloads quickly and it does whole folders in seconds. It's what I use to upload to my blog so that I don't use up so much space. Hope that helps?

Havent had a chance to carch up yet, you lot dont half talk.

It was DS's birthday today and he LOVED his dragon card. Never did get to finish the rocket card i was just to busy.

He's had a fab day and we are all absolutely shattered.

I am hopping around trying to find some inspriration to help me wrap these and these chocolate lollies for the kids for christmas. I really want to maximise the using my scorpal.

I have a full child free day tomorrow so i can get them done all 30 of them.

So if any of you have any ideas i would be extremely greatful.

Lucky you, Ali. Say hello to the Cadbury shop :D Yum!

Princesswoo Did you get the metric or imperial scr-pal? If you need some inspiration log onto splitcoasterstampers here or the scor-pal website here where you will get loads of ideas for making the boxes or wrappers you need. Last year I made simple wrappers for the sort of choccies you have. Tied an ribbon over the bottom to keep the choccy in place and they looked great. I aslo decorated some with cut outs and nesties too. I forgot, keep this blog in your favourites somewhere as Kitty makes quite a lot for the scor-pal site

Have added a few cards and makes to my blog this morning and the beautiful card I received from Marg in the CP card swap this month... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/

Hope everyone's ok. I have a horrible sore throat and DS1 is pretty poorly with his cold, poor thing. Can't see him going to his friend's party this afternoon :( - haven't plucked up the courage to mention it to him yet :o

Rainmac - Thank you for the lovely card you sent me for the C P swap - it arrived yesterday lunch time - it's beautiful! You beat me to it! I posted yours yesterday afternoon about 4 'clock and already it's arrived and been put on your blog!:A I'm sorry to hear you are poorly and it looks like DS1 will miss the party the afternoon. Suggest you both have lots of warm drinks & snuggle up on the sofa & watch a DVD instead. ((hugs))

Gemma - sorry haven't quite finished your ATC - went shopping yeserday & managed to buy nothing! I refused to buy a reel of glittery gold thread in Hobbycraft when I got to the counter & they wanted £1.89:eek: Don't know why I needed to tell you that - it wasn't for your ATC!:rotfl:

Mary-op -So glad you got DH's appointments sorted out even if you've got to be there so early - keeping everything crossed for you.

Rusty - Hope all is well with you - will look for more info on the pens -think they cost about £5 though!

Ali b - Ooh! can I come too? That's a brill outlet place, though I've not been for a while - Pret a Manger butties!

Hope no one on here's been affected by the atrocious weather in the Lakes - though I don't think so.

Loads of domestics to do here this weekend - we've got visitors coming to stay next w/end as MIL will be 89 & her house not fit.
