I think it was oap who made the book - but I could be wrong? Your card is gorgeous!!! Well done on the windfall and treating yourself to a beautiful pressie x

Mel, no I haven't found my papers (but still looking) and it's driving me mad. Honestly have no idea where they are and our house is not mansion proportions so it is actually quite hard to loose things

rainmac I had the strangest dream that you found your missing papers!!! is that weird and creepy?? lol - maybe its a good sign ;)

  • Evening ladies - managed to do something strange to my bum/lower back at tennis this morning so been wincing most of the day!

Louby - sorry your fair was sucha washout - I'm dreading mine being like that next week! At least your lovelt DH made it up to you.

Rainmac and son - hope you feel better soon. There are so many flipping bugs about at the moment - I can't remember the last time we were all well at the same time in our family! Your easel cardsa re stunning by the way!

The-WIfe - that card is stunning. I just can't get into black and white but it always looks so effective.

Sunrise - more black and white looking fabulous - I bet your 'baby' will love them.

Npsmama - welcome back. Your box is lovely.

Nannyboo-ditto your star card. I don't think I really have the patience for fiddly ones like that.

MAry-op. gald you seem to be getting a bit nearer to some answers. Fingers crossed everything goes well.

Craftygranny - hope your girls are doing well - and the sale is a roaring success.

Whoopidoo - I have to say I am completely in love with your fairy card - that cut out was amazing.
  • Hi been busy getting everything sorted for tomorrow. We had a piece all about alicia and tomorrows event in the local paper so hopefully we'll get a good turn out. The landlady said to tell you all you are wonderful and she's thrilled to see so many beautiful cards etc.
Piece of unexpected good news today . Alicia is supposed to be in hospital until monday or tuesday and consultant did his rounds and said she could be home tomorrow then at 2.30 danielle rang and all her test results were good and they'd be home at 5.30 tonight.
for those who'd like to see here's a link to pics of her at the hospital and the nasty scar on her head.. I was at her other grandma's house when her mum rang. When i got home alicia rang and said the doctor put a little cut on her head. (It's Huge) And the only thing that upset her was she remembered being sick and she didn't like being sick she said. Bless her .

Louby sorry to hear about your fair that's awful. That's what i'm worried about tomorrow although we do still have other chances to sell it i hope. Not long now to your baby is it.

Thank you so much choccy and mary. We have another event on the 12th of december so we'll have a head start hopefully lol.

Bad news for me i slipped and twisted my knee about an hour ago It's agony even to stand so dosed up on painkillers and resting it hope it's better by tomorrow.
Lovely cards ladies hope all the poorlies are feeling better. Fab cards Wifey that cd sounds fab might have to look into that. Thanks too for the links for the scor pal i have a metric one and wondered if it would be worth buying the other one too.

  • Just wanted to say I hope you get a good turn out for today and that if the weather their is anything like it is here that it wont put people off coming. So many people really do want today to be a huge success.
It's wonderful news that Alicia will be home sooner than expected

My fingers and toes are crossed hoping everyone will be very generous. Looking forward to hearing how things go

P.S hope your not in too much pain after your slip.
  • Kim - I saw that paper yesterday when I was trawling for MME but can't remember where I saw it :o. I did find it through the top 50 on UK scrappers though so can only suggest you have a look through those shops (sorry not much help) I do remember it was on the top right hand corner of the page though.

Hope it all goes well today supergran and that your knee is better - great news about the girlz :D.

Am going to try for a bit of crafting today but need DD to wake up so we can put her bed back - Is so warm and snuggly in here now the work has been done just one more to go on Tuesday.

Had a fantastic night out on Friday OH said he was taking me out for a meal and apologised that the rooms were a bit basic - what he didn't say was that we were kind of special guests and it was a gourmet meal and wine tasting for only about 20 people - they showed DD the menu and then offered to cook her whatever she wanted :D. we've booked in again for a black tie dinner on New Years Eve. waved as we went past on Saturday morning Flourgirl as it was at the Fourways in Blythe - the restaurant is stunning.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
