Kim, that paper is gorgeous, hope you find it soon
Padster, sounds like you had a lovely evening :j
Louby, sorry your sale wasn't great. I've only done 2 but from speaking to other stall holders they either seem to do really well or barely sell anything. Have you got a friend who'd man a stall on your behalf in the run up to Christmas to try again?
Huge good luck with the sale craftygranny. So sorry to hear you had an accident, hope you are feeling better this morning xxx
Came across this digi stamp site this morning, some of the images are really sweet and there are a couple of freebies too... http://www.doodlepalace.com/
I made a joke jar last night, something to pop on the table during Christmas dinner, has lots of silly kiddie jokes in it... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/2009/11/this-used-to-be-jar-of-chocolate-powder.html:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Craftygranny- good luck for today. (hope your leg is better!)
louby - sorry your craft fair wasnt very good hope it hasnt put you off doing another one - you might get better customers next time!
Paddington - ooh that sounds a nice time!!
Rainmac -thanks for the links - that joke idea sounds good - although after doing all the cutting & folding for the 2 x journals in jars might do it for new years day- thank goodness for the guillotine!!!!0 -
@loubyloo - I'm sorry to hear about your sale
I don't suppose there are any other fairs you can do before baby is born?
I went to a craft shop in North Camp (the art of craft) - I know there's someone on here from Guildford and I mentioned the shop but hadn't been there until yesterday. It's actually quite big and crammed full of stuff - maybe a little too crammed as it was hard to see everything. I got some storage boxes for my 12x12s and peels offs. And spent yesterday tidying and sorting all my craft bits
Also made 2 cards copying the Robin design from fiddle farts blog. I made my own robins out of some pearlescent brown card I found while sorting!
Also got a pile of stuff organised for starting my first scrapbook which will be my wedding album. I could use some advice about the album I have...so if there are any scrapbookers could you take a peek here: http://cardsbyjones.blogspot.com/2009/11/my-first-scrapbook.html0 -
Good luck for today Craftygranny - and how lovely to hear that Alicia s doing so well.0

Ohhhh Bears! Fell off my stash free wagon but under £5 and may have had a small spend on Ebay but under £10 total and I have almost paid off my overdraft this month so deserved a treat
.
Am lusting after lots of MME thoughOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

. I did find it through the top 50 on UK scrappers though so can only suggest you have a look through those shops (sorry not much help) I do remember it was on the top right hand corner of the page though.

Hi all.
Paddington - thank you so much for the calendar tabs - I'm off upstairs now to have a play with them!
Louby=Lou - don;t be disheartened - I'm always astounded by what does and doesn't sell when I do car boots and have found the same to be true with craft sales. I had a nosy on a thread about Christmas fayres yesterday and there was a lady there who sold nearly all her peg magnets for £1 each - mine wouldn't shift at 3 for £1.25 so it just goes to show.
I'd see if you can get a friend to run a stall for you and failing that, you could donate a few bits and bobs to charity ones and save the rest for next year with whatever space you have left.
I always try to remember that I enjoy actually making thngs so getting something back from selling them is a bonus but I suppose its different if you've made them specifically to sell.0 -
Girls can any of you tell me if this is a good price for a card folder thingy? It's £4.85 and if you spend over a tenner postage is free. (Looking for stocking fillers for my eldest - the card maker
) Take a look at the site - 40% off sale!
eta: My mistake. It's orders over £40 is free P&P. Used to be a tenner:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0 -
