Rusty, that's an absolutely dreadful way to treat your little chap. It won't give him much confidence in his teachers if they just ignore the very visible signs. Who was the first-aider on site? They should have recognised an injury like that and stayed with him. You've got a load on your plate at the mo but in time when you're better give 'em a length of yer tongue! When I had my Hysterectomy ( do you remember when your elders used to whisper 'all taken away' look down and a sweep of the hand) they gave me an epidural. I must admit it really scared me but it worked! Have faith in the docs.

:hello: Hi! to saveapenny & npsmama

    Rusty - How's things? A lot better I hope?

Gemma - Craftwork cards are offering blog candy 'cos their website's not ready - I still don't know how to do links but if you go to their website & follow the link on the LH side to their blog it's the top post. Got to be worth a try!

Rainmac - Am putting your CP swap card in the post today - for once I'm not late! Hope you're OK?

Gemma - If I get it finished ditto your CP ATC.

Next job, once a few domestics done - Post Pals.....
  • I know lots of you do craft fairs and am wondering if any of you are doing the Waters Edge one at Barton tomorrow. I am off for the day and hoping that I can possibly pick up a present for a friend. I am aiming to make lots of my gifts for Christmas but have realised how little time I have so if any of you are there I will check out your stall.
    Kate :hello:

I can't believe the school did that how awful, definitely complain. When my nephew was younger the school did an after school football thing and sis only allowed him to go if they were definitely dropping the kids off at their homes (they all lived out in the sticks) anyway come 8pm she got an upset phonecall from my nephew they had decided to just drop him off with the last kid in the middle of nowhere but luckily there was a phone box so he could call home. No mobiles then, at least not as popular as now. When she got to him he was hiding in a bush because he was so scared.

Apparantly you could hear her yelling in the headmasters office right at the other end of the school next day and headmaster was horrified the teacher in question had done it - think he got a suspension or similar and yes, like you craftygranny she was treated like royalty whenever she had to go up again by the teachers and the pupils too cos she was the HARD Mum. :rotfl:

I've uploaded my Labyrinth swap finally :D Only a month late ;) Thank you for all your lovely comments about the fairy card, it means a lot espescially from proper card makers like you lot :)
:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin

Ooh thanks for that - there's never any craft shows local to me but my boyfriend lives in Basingstoke so that's not far from him! I'll check with his Mum as no doubt she'll want to go lol x

Hello, been awol for a bit, had kiddie film night at school yesterday afternoon and I was a parent helper and then home to make dinner and bake cakes for Children in Need event at DS1's school. This morning was spent having lots of toast and hot chocolate in a cafe with a friend. It was lovely :D

Craftygranny, have been thinking of you, sending HUGE hugs to you and everyone else, what brave little girls :D

Mary, sorry to be a nag but have you heard from the hospital yet? Give me the number and I'll ring them, let's get this appointment sorted ;) Got my knickers on inside out by the way x

Rusty, blimey missus that's terrible decision making on behalf of your DS's school  Hope DS is ok today xxx Also seen your thread about behaviour. I think you can tell from the feedback you've had that you're not on your own. I can't offer any advice really, only support. I do try my best to reward good behaviour and deal with the bad or ignore it. I often find ignoring can make it stop sooner.

Npsmama, hello you, we've missed you x

Still not found my papers, thinking of ordering new sets
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

Welcome back to npsmama, hope everything is going well for you x

Rusty I hope your DS is ok today

Whoopidoo Your coaster set is fantastic, you are very clever, I haven't seen that done before. Well done :T

Craftygranny I am so pleased both your girlies are ok and everything went well.

I have had a lovely morning shopping with DH and spending my Per Una tokens (wages):) Have told him he can take me again next week after I have been paid  I'm trying to make the most of me working other wise the extra money will just get absorbed in with the housekeeping

We have Willow for the weekend so no crafting done again  Then friends for tea on Sunday. DH is in the garden mending the garden seat which has blown over in the night and broken, better go and make him a coffee.
