Gemm how is Amber?? Hope she is recovering.

I took her back to the vets yesterday and they gave her some injections which last for 2 weeks to clear up her symptoms, they think its just been a long case of cat flu and could take up to a month for her to get better completely!! I feel so sorry for her when she coughs though, she's been marginally better today but she has a while to go yet on this lot of drugs. Silver just wants to play all the time and jumps on Amber when she's feeling wheezy and just doesn't want to know :rotfl:

while I was at the vets yesterday I booked them both in to be spayed for the end of december, just before christmas as I have 10 days off work so will be able to keep an eye on them, I don't put it past them to pull each other stitches out when I'm not here!!

not finding much time for crafting during the week now as I think they tend to do most of their sleeping in the day while we're at work then charge around all evening while we're here!! I need to get all my stuff made at the weekend when they are asleep in the day ;) lol
  • Hi Ladies . Thank you for all the good wishes. Both girls are doing really well. They changed Alicia's op to this morning . It took 4 hours instead of the 3 they thought but she's fine . They did a little biopsy too while they were in there.
She came round a little when they took her to the ward . She said i really need a wee and fell straight back to sleep. lol. The consultant is really pleased .
Carly had her anaesthetic this afternoon. They did what they needed to and had a good look to see if they can find any obvious cause for her deafness. When she came round she just kept signing drink and eating . They brought her toast and a big jug of juice and she polished off the lot. Poor girl is like bunbun she has to eat every hour she missed her lunch and all her little snacks.

    hi
does anyone know a good place for glitter card with low p&p - only really need a couple of sheets in black and mdnight blue.?
    cheers
  • Just a quick on from me, I will explain in a mo ....

Craftygranny I am so sorry I forgot to wish you good luck for the girls today! glad to hear things are going well though and wishing them both a very speedy recovery!

I haven't replied to all the PM's you lot have sent me, sorry I am not being ignorant I have had a stressful day!!

Bunbun - sorry I didn't get a chance to call you back, I will try and call you tomorrow!!

DS came out of school with a huge lump on his head and a sticker on his chest which said I have banged my head at school today! No explanation or anything!! I asked the teacher and apparently he was left for over an hour looking like a ghost with no colour in his face and no one bothered to contact me! This followed by a 3-4 hour wait in the hospital as he deteriated and has concussion! I was so angry with the school that they can do something like this!! so as you can imagine I am stressed to the max and have sat down just for the first time tonight!! I just need some sleep but have to wake him up every 2 hours so it isn't looking likely for me tonight!

Helllloooo.............I'm back after 3 months of silence!

I obviously haven't caught up on everyone here (although a comment about how to wear knickers stands out??)

I can't promise i'll be very regular on here but i just wanted to say hi.

I've added a couple of things on my blog (http://justbecauseitmakesmesmile.blogspot.com/) but i haven't made much in thetime i've not posted anyway.

Lovely to see you all again!
