 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

  • Yay my ProMarkers arrived today! I've been having a play and can't wait to colour everything in sight :D Does anyone else feel guilty when people ask how much they cost though? Even though it's my hard earnt money, when my Mum was asking I told her they cost me £1 each & she was still gobsmacked lol x

Have put a couple of pictures on my blog of some gift card holders I have made.
Love your snowman card Rusty although now I want those nesties.
Lei I have just ordered some more promarkers I justified them to myself by saying they were to colour some images for hubbys calender that I am making him for christmas need to find some papers now lol.
JHB hope you have a fab time.
Hope everyone who is feeling poorly feels better soon I have a stinking cold and just want to curl up and go to sleep sorry if I have missed anyone out but my head feels like it is full of cottonwool.
  • Lei enjoy your promarkers ;) they are fabby :D I love mine!!

Thanks for all the well wishes!!

Paddingtondoo I know exactly what you mean, I told OH on the phone that it could go wrong and that I would be stuck with this pain forever and he said that won't happen but my response was that with my bad luck it was likely to lol

Can I be really cheeky and ask for 5 minutes of your time to read this thread and comment if you feel you can help me please. But please don't feel you just have to post cause it is me, only do it if you genuinely want to :) Thankyou xxxx

Aww rusty she sounds lovely . Sounds a lot like my grandma's sister bless her. What's her name my aunt was called minnie and my grandma was called gladys .

Gemm. Postie has just been . They are beautiful thank you .

Princesswoo got a beautiful parcel from you too. We are in love with the girl with the frog is that a greeting farm or whatever they are called ?

crafty-granny - glad the cards arrived - so much for 1st class post, yes it is a greeting farm stamp, i love them all.

lei - glad you got your promarkers, i dont feel bad when i tell people how much they cost, your right it is your hard earnt cash - you deserve it.

Jailhouse - dont go to vegas i've heard its rubbish ;), stay at home and send me your tickets.

Rusty - your Op will be fine, you have to trust your surgeon, my mum has injections in weird places for allsorts of problems too.

I now i have missed loads of people out, but i go AWOL for a day and it feels like ive missed a few months.

Were all starting to feel a little better, Lily is doing well now, bless her, she is just an angel of a baby, not like the other 2 monsters.

I havent done any card-making or crafting for days. I have bought loads of chocolate from thorntons (the little princess & car slabs for 69p) so i will be needing to make some little wallets for them as they are gonna be gifts for the kids in my sons class.

I also bought 10 mini candy canes from WH smith that i would like to do something creative with.

I shall have to squeeze it in somewhere between packing boxes, im sooooo not looking forward to being without internet for however long it takes to set up at the new house as we have to have a new phone line fitted.

Also i dont know where you all get your envelopes and bags etc from but i use this site and they are really good, they allow you to just buy 1 envelope if thats all you need.

Sign up to the newsletter and get an extra 5% off (excluding delivery) they sent me this code today WAVSC - not sure if its user specific or not but you can always try it.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!

Just been talking to my OH about what I want for Christmas, and of course it will be crafty stuff :D. After seeing Dawnteabags post about nestabilities - 4 for £60; he has agreed to get me some, but I can't decide which ones - I already have scalloped and plain circles; so I want to ask all of you who have nesties - which ones wouldn't you be without and get the most use out of?

Rusty - i'm sure your injection will be fine, and will have my fingers crossed that it cures your problem and makes life a bit easier for you. My mum has had quartazon (sp?) injections in her hip bone a couple of times for athritus, and although they are uncomfortable, things have improved greatly with her mobility a day or so after.

Rainmac - hope you find your papers - you have probably just put them 'somewhere safe'.

Princesswoo - good luck with the move - glad to hear lily is on the mend.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
  • Rusty look at it this way you can always get a craftygranny cart get her to give you some driving lessons and terrorise the local shoppers :rotfl::rotfl:.

thanks for the envelopes link princess - glad little legs is feeling better

CT - My fave nesties are labels 1 and labels 8 - the ovals are good as well - although I may have to invest in Rusty's rectangles if my deckled edge scissors won't do the job. the best ones IMHO are the shapes that you just can't cut by hand HTH :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
