Marg - thanks, I will. It is odd though......when the postal strike was on the hospitla rang to say when his appt. was for his endoscopy in case the letter didn't arrive in time...........we got it next day !
I ordered a dvd from amazon on Sunday and that arrived today so a lot of post seems to be arriving on time.
I'll ring them anyway..........hate being messed about and all this waiting is doing our heads in:eek:

Rusty - hope all goes well - I had a spinal block (not sure if similar to what you are having) but I was shaking like a jelly and the anaethetist (sp) was able to do it first attempt - sure you will be in safe hands.

Sorry to not be around at the moment. Pretty busy at work and don't seem to have much time at home. Am keeping an eye on everyone here though! SHould get a couple of hours to myself tomorrow morning so after errands will try and pop on for a wee while.

Good evening to all readers/followers and posters on the bestest thread in the whole world of MSE!

I have still not been card making and I know I owe and have promised several cards and I will get there but sadly not this week too busy with work and going to Swindon for the weekend for a girlie 'eat drink and be merry' shopping spree! Have spent all my pennies at the NEC so will try and keep the purse firmly closed (unless I see any must have bargains obviously!)

I assume that sales/fundraising will be ongoing. Good luck for this weekend just wish it was nearer as I would come and spend, spend, spend!!

Rusty I am sure the spinal injection will work out and just think how fab it will be to finally be pain free. I appreciate it must be hard though as I always get nervous having procedures and ops done thinking of u xxx

Nannyboo Well done on your weight loss :T I went to WW last night, I have 2 stone to lose to get back to my goal I went for 8 years the last time but the last 2years have been very menopausal so thats my excuse for gaining the weight!! Its a different leader this time and she is a little OTT but I suppose I will get used to her. I have set myself a mini target of half a stone for Christmas and to make sure I go I have signed up for the monthly pass :money: Please let me know how you do on Saturday

He's ok considering all this is doing both out heads in..............lol Least I can play with a bit of glue and paper...............actually got some cards done for craftygranny -just need some more envelopes and those see through things to put them in.
