Rainmac You need to stop worrying about what other people think, there is nothing wrong with your craft items, they are fantastic!! Just take the money and smile, and if they criticise its only because they are jealous of your amazing talent. I'm sure you are going to do well, just wish I was there to help and support you. Instead I will be selling bread and cakes to grumpy old dears who can remember when bread was 1d a loaf!! lol0

Marg - I think I should be caged ... I have cut my finger on my scalpel whilst crafting and managed to drop the kettle which had just boiled and chucked it all down me, my toes on one foot are scalded, luckily I had thick jeans on and only got a bit on my legs! I also managed to wreck 4 packs of tablets all of which were brand new as the water went over the worktop which melted the blister packs which my prescriptions come in and they ended up all wet so have had to chuck them awayMeans a pain weekend now as I don't have enough to last me til monday and my doctors prescription line is now closed til monday
Think I need to go back to bed!!
I have however made these cardsThe decoupage sheet came from the NEC!!
They are also on my blog!
Rusty these cards are fabulous!! I love the swiss dots embossing they make the cards look so Christmassy. Beautiful Decoupage too xx0 -

Rusty can you not use 2 pieces of card under the die just to lift it up a fraction?judging by the amount of cursing on the phone I don't think it worked:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl: sorry Bunbun! :rotfl: admit you found it funny though!! think I have put a disc out in my back trying to get it through!!
Flourgirl I tried your idea (and choccys thanks) and basically I think the alphabet itself it faulty. It has indented on both bits of card but not physically cut through. Now on the stamp type dies which came with the cuttlebug if you put your finger on the foam you can feel a sharp edge which cuts, on the sizzix alphabet you can feel some metal but it is rounded and pretty smooth!!
Now I know I got it from the craft superstore so I guess I need to contact them and see how I get a replacement!! it was a bargain from the NEC!!
Thankyou for your help ladies!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Rusty...............hope your back gets better soon........take it easy when you can.......you always seem to be 'on the go'.............:o
craftygranny - what a shame about the operation.......it's all added stress when it's needed least but I'm sure all will come good
rainmac - how can anyone criticise your handiwork ? Don't take blind bit of notice of any remarks (which I'm sure there won't be except to compliment you).......if someone doesn't like what they see...........well, they're lacking in taste I should think
Good luck
Brilliant work by all of you .......love looking at your blogs:TI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

This month the challenge is to send a card to a poorly child on the Post Pals website and include a little craft kit that they could use to make something.
