Making Cards - Ideas for a card craft beginner (Part 3)

rusty - I have 4 different sixxiz alphabets and i have managed to get it to work fine by padding it out with a piece of card on the top of the die NOT under the piece you are wanting to cut, i use 2 B plates. If i use a C & B plate the bug struggles to get it through and i feel like im going to break my bug and it also feels like its going to fly back out at me and cause me an injury.
My bug sarnie looks like this:
(Top)
B plate
piece of scrap card (depending on the thickness you might need 2 pieces)
Sizzix die - facing down
Card to be cut
B plate
A plate
(bottom)
Rainmac - Your stuff is FANTASTIC, dont be so critical of yourself, if it wasnt for you and your fabby makes i wouldnt have been inspired to make as much as i have and all thanks to you putting it on your blog to insprie us all.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Sally -so sorry to hear your sad news..............my thoughts are with you...........x
Rusty...............hope your back gets better soon........take it easy when you can.......you always seem to be 'on the go'.............:o
craftygranny - what a shame about the operation.......it's all added stress when it's needed least but I'm sure all will come good
rainmac - how can anyone criticise your handiwork ? Don't take blind bit of notice of any remarks (which I'm sure there won't be except to compliment you).......if someone doesn't like what they see...........well, they're lacking in taste I should think
Good luck
Brilliant work by all of you .......love looking at your blogs:T
Mary, only managed to get your parcel posted today (well OH has done it at work) so you will soon have a paperclip bookmark of mine and some paperclips to make your own. Sorry for the delay, time has flown by this week xxx:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Thank you so much, I will let you know tomorrow night how it went:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Sally - big hugs - don't know what else to say really.
Rainmac - thanks for the link - bang goes my stash diet when they're released :rotfl:
Hope everything goes well tomorrow as someone else said just smile and take their money.
Rusty - not sure if you'd even be safe going back to bed :rotfl:. I sometimes have problems with my sizzix dies in my bug - I use C plate layer of card, B plate, die face up, card to cut, other B plate and wind it through 2 or 3 times - Have found that my bug works better with the die face up for some reasonOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Craftygranny what a shame about Alicias op I have a niece who needs regular ops and i know how everyone gets so worked up and streesed in the run up, so i can understand that it now means you all all have to go through that again.

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is ok, thought I'd just drop in to say hi! I've had a busy couple of months with uni, work and the wedding and I've agreed to do a craft fair at the beginning of December now so have to prepare lot's of bits for that  Why do I always take on too much?!
Anyway I won't be able to catch up on everything but hope to stop in every now and then to keep me sane!
