  • RAK is a random act of kindness. I believe it's meant for a reason too but her mum was all psyched up for today and now she has to do it all again.
She rang tonight and said thomas and josh may as well go home. Thomas said no chance grandma said we can make more pots of gold and reindeer soup tomorrow.lol. Well i thought it would give them something else to think about .
This morning my daughter victoria opened her door to the postie and he handed her a huge envelope Inside were lots of signed photos, certificates and team posters from Liverpool Football club . The boys are huge fans so will be thrilled to bits when she comes tomorrow. She only emailed and asked if they could spare a pic of stevie g for them.

sorry to hear the op was posponed, i bet the boys are going to be thirilled about liverpool things. My cousin in law is obsesed with them and hes 35? lol
  • Flourgirl - I sent some to Ikkie.

DS1 still off sick! His ears hurt today, luckily already got appointments for both of them this afternoon. He's never actually been off school for longer than a day and is soooo bored!

Beautiful card Lei love the bag & headband how did you do that? Cut & paste?

Thanks! I stamped the handbag and headband bits on scraps of the background paper then cut them out and stuck on my image x
  • Princesswoo I have sent you a PM.

Well Having just realised that it is friday the 13th it would explain a few things ...

I woke up in absolute agony this morning, my back is so painful when normally the pain is mostly in my leg (I blame fri the 13th!! )

I turned the tap on in the gents toilets so clean the units and its one of the taps where you have to keep pushing it down to set it off again ... I went into the cleaners cupboard and went back into the gents and I had flooded it all  Took me ages to get the water up off the floor :rotfl: The tap had stuck!! I blame friday the 13th for that aswell!!

Todays lists include me trying to do the childrens christmas cards and hopefully make OH a christmas card!! wether it happens is another story!! I also need to stamp images for some ladies and I have part packed new parcels for Dragonllew and CGCOCKCROFT. I also have a packet for Lei and one for Choccy!! Probably won't be until Monday when I can get them posted off as I am skint!! hope that is ok, if anyone needs them sending before then please pm me and I will see if I can borrow OH's card and pay on that!

    Hi Rusty

    Thanks for the email.

Sorry to hear about your back being so painful, I hope it eases up a bit over the weekend.

I had great plans too this week to do some crafting before going to work each day, however I got a phone call on Wednesday morning to say my lovely brother has died. That's both my sister and brother gone within 11 months of each other. My poor Mum, this will finish her off now, I think as she's almost 91.

Then last night my OH came home and said he'd been speaking with his Mum and her partner has been poorly recently. He got some of his results back and he's been told he has some type of cancer of the blood. He's a wonderful man and I really like him lots. He was playing professional tennis up until two years ago and he was 81 then!

I hope we don't get any more bad news, think we've had enough now.

Hope everyone else has a good weekend.

Rusty - Sounds like the sort of things that could happen to me. I've not ventured out yet! Hope your back pain eases very soon.

Sal - I'm so very sorry to hear of your brothers death coming so soon after the loss of your sister - I seem to recall you telling us just how poorly he was earlier in the year - It's very hard to know what to say that may comfort you other than I'll be thinking of you & your family at this sad time. (((Hugs)))

Just popped this on the Christmas thread but thought you girls might be interested too for your crafty fairs and Christmas pressies. I thought it was a good deal and have ordered a pack...

Just received this offer in an email newsletter - thought it was pretty good?

    four-bracelets.jpg

£8 for all 4 bracelets to cross stitch, comes with threads. Postage was £1.50 unless you spend over £20 then it's free. I just paid the postage. Thought just over £2 was really good per bracelet - will make nice little stocking fillers don't you think. Says offer only on for a limited time though :)
:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin
