We are exhibiting at the Hobby crafts show at the NEC next week. Is there anyone out there that lives local to the NEC and would be able to work on our stand to demonstrate the Sizzix BIGshot on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The show is open from 9.30 am until 5.30 pm

Ideally we would like a someone who has a bit of experience demonstrating Sizzix or has a good knowledge of the Bigshot and its capabilities.

Pay is negotiable and we will cover all travelling costs.

If you are interested please give me a call on 07979592865

    Many Thanks

    Mark

When shall i tell you what the challenge is then? On thurday or friday as it will only be to keep the ones not going busy and not wishing to much that we were there. Or shall i tell you before? Better search the old threads incase you have done it before.

  • Hi all,

After the above post about the Big Shot - has anyone got one on here and if so, have you got the electric version? Again if so, would you recommend this over the original version?

    Many thanks,

    Alex

I've ordered quite a bit of craft stuff from America and not been hit by import duty... yet. I did order a pair of boots a few years ago from over there and that DID get hit (around £60!!!!) But they were a lot heavier than craft stuff. I've also won craft bits from America and that's not been hit either so well worth entering those overseas blog candies ;)

Thanks Whoopidoo, just what I wanted to hear! Will get ordering tonight.
Life's too short for wasting on ifs and might have beens...........

The Wife - your cards are lovely - like Melissa - my favourite is the cat - I have always liked that picture.
Dragonllew - lovely cards - how cute is the reindeer with the dangly legs - I love things like that.
Louby - as I had the NEC almost in my grasp and then cruelly snatched away:rotfl:can I join your challenge.
Saveapenny - Sounds like you have been having a complete nightmare - hope things are better for you now!

Princesspoppypop - congratulations - glad you are feeling better - my morning sickness was horrible with Elliot! Funny thing is I was only physically sick a couple of times, but I felt sick constantly. April 17 th is a fabulous due date - its my birthday!!!

Thanks Melissa - I had terrible nausea feeling- i used this ridiculous breathing I made up to get through it! Went off most foods too and had no appetite. Luckily that has home back I love pickles and fruit corners now although not at the same time :rotfl:
April 17th is a fab date! My area managers daughter was born then too. Its seems April is a very popular month!

Well - I have decided that I MUST get some circle punches and spent last night looking through loads of sites that I'd never seen before. I haven't bought any yet - I still haven't figured out which would be the cheapest taking the postage into account - I'll let you know my results!

I would love to know which you go for Melissa as Ive been searching for scallop circle and circle punches too.

Hi Saveapenny – Big hugs. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Hope things are sorted out very soon. There are some very horrid people out there and one day she will get her comeuppance. You are so kind with what you share and certainly don’t deserve this agro.

Mumhug – glad the party went well. You’re braver than me putting on a Halloween party, but I bet everyone enjoyed it.

Craftygranny – sorry to hear that your pumpkin was stolen. Hope that when the police go to the parent’s house of the boys that did it, that the boys are suitable reprimanded. I know that I would be livid if my boys did anything like that. I posted off Alicia’s cards today (sorry they are later than I said). Hopefully you will get over the next few days, and they are not held up with the back log of post

Dawnteabag – posted off your stash today, so look out for it.

Flourgirl – Hope you had a lovely weekend. I popped something in the post for you as well for tomorrow. Fingers crossed you will get it OK.

Rusty – thank you so much for the Halloween cards. My boys loved theirs, and the goodies that you sent. Can you tell me where you got the ‘little monster’ sentiments from please – did you just do it on the computer?

For everyone who wants suppliers of ‘nesties’ I recently orders some from here and they arrived the next day. Really happy with the price and service.

Great cards on your blog dragonllew; the wife; kim_possible.

Gingerbiscuit – I have just got a cuttlebug after recommendations from the lovely ladies on this thread, and love it. Think I have used it for every card I have made recently and love the swiss dots embossing folder that I have for it.

Well done on your win – Rainmac.

Princesswoo – having fun with your CDs and images.

Louby-lou-lou – I’d be up for the challenge, as I can’t go to the NEC this year but hope to make the next one.

Paddingtondoo - great cards on your blog. Thank you for the link to the free 'fairy cake' image. It's really cute and i'll be using it on my next card.
