Hello :hello:Blimey, I'm not here for 1 day and the have 5 pages to catch up on
Craftgranny, I've made some pegs and paperclip bookmarks for Alicia's Appeal and have a selection of cards too that I've previously made. Will pop it all in the post later in the week
Hi Saveapenny, we've missed you loads, sounds like you need lots of hugs and chats with your friends :grouphug:. Are you able to come to the NEC on Friday? I haven't set a new card swap on CP yet, will do later today. And choose a winner for OctoberAlso would it be ok if I do the challenge this month as well to make cards and card kits for Post Pals? Whoopidoo mentioned the Post Pals request on another thread and thought it would be a good one to do on CP this month. Would that be ok?
Cheers for the shove furry, I WON I WON I WON Boots' fabby BG candy, can't wait to receive it  :j :T
Off to catch up on blogs now x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Ok as i am def not coming to the nec now I am going to buy me lots of goodies to cheer myself up and they then can also be from santa. Any good bargains to be had on-line?
Bought the flippin christmas bath decoupage for my parents at the weekend as they are having building work done at the moment and they don't have a shower which they are really moaning about and missing. The work won't be finished untill after xmas so they will have to put up with baths for some time.
As most of you will be leaving us for brum on fri (so not fair it is only 30 mins away from me) would anyone who isn't going like to do a little challange? I don't want to tread on anyones toes that sorts the challanges out but thought it would be fun. I have a theme in mind it is quite simple, well it has to be if i can do it, and i will draw a name out of a hat and give a small prize to the winner. If no takers don't worry.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -

He was telling his mate at work how i've started making cards and funnily enough his mate's wife has been doing it for years, so she has sent me about 20 CD's full of images for me to keep. How nice was that. I havent looked at them yet as i cant get into the office cos DF is sleeping after doing a night shift, but im itching to see whats on there.
His mate's wife makes cards for the local childrens hospice and sells them on to raise funds.
Is there a particular paper or card i should be using with my promarkers i was colouring in some digi stamps last night and there was a lot of bleeding around the edges even though i was being super careful.
Hi there,
Sounds like you're going to have a lot of fun with those cds!
Stampin' Up!s Whisper White Cardstock is fantastic with Promarkers and Copic pens as it's super smooth. If you want to send me your address, I'll pop a few sheets in the mail for you.
Hope this helps.

Just came on to say well done rainmac on winning the blog candy.Thank you for the goodies for alicia too.
The Wife thank you .
Oh princesswoo that sounds good . Bet you have loads of fun with those.
my promarkers came today from little claire what fab colours i can't wait to use them .
Saveapenny it's such a shame you have a stupid woman like that on your back you don't need it. Most crafters are lovely as my lovely grandaughter and her mum are finding out. That person seems to have a huge ego problem. Just ignore her she is not worth the hassle . Just try to enjoy your crafting with no worries. Well apart from where to buy the huge ammount of stash from you must need same as the rest of us lol .Glad you're back we missed you.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
New challenge finish birth sampler by end of the month
No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Hello All
Not been on for a while, had family down and when had five mins been card making to relax. Updated my blog with what i made, a fair bit! Have seen some blog updates, amazed at what you guys are creating need to up my game i think, lol. Will leave comments when i get a chance.
Wanted to pick your brains, have any of you made a bookatrix card?
I wanted to make something special for my mum at christmas. I resorted to buying one ready made from Ebay in her fave colour GOLD -- Stunning! was sure i would wreck it!
After seeing how cute it is i am thinking about buying the tools to make my own but was wondering if it would be a passing fad?
I have the bookatrix (oops mean I used to have it) I didn't use it very often but loved it for making special occasion cards especially for people I knew would appreciate it. Kate :hello:0 -

Meant to say earlier, can't believe what happened to your pumpkin, blooming kids!!! I would never have dared do that when I was younger and if either of mine were to do it, well I don't want to think about the rage I would be in! We were at a friends house last week and at around 7.30pm someone threw small rocks at my friend's OH's car and broke a window and caused loads of chips and dents along the side of his brand new VW van/car thing. It is thousands of pounds worth of damage, probably caused by children who thought it was fun at the time :wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Saveapenny - i know I don't know you but just had to send you HUGS after such an awful time you have been having . To have all that happening must be bad enough but on top of the two anniversaries must make it even harder for you:wave: Kate :hello:0

Okay silly question time but what are promarkers and why should I have them lol.
I own some Marvy Le Plume pens but could do with a few more (I gave away more craft stuff originally when I gave up than I thought I had - on a positive I can buy more stuff lol.
So why do I need to buy Promarkers rather than the Le Plume pens. Kate :hello:0 -
Im up for the challenge, it shall keep me occupied.
I am extremely jealous of you all, there's no way i could go to the NEC living all this way up in scotland. I will be there next year though.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0
