The wife I have messed up with nesties iwanted the large scalloped circles and the large classic circles. I found the scalloped ones from make a lasting impression on ebay but she didnt have the others. I emailed her last week and she said she had ordered some so I was going to wait.
Last night I got impatient and decided to order them from the seller craftygranny recomended. Unfortunatley I wasnt concentrating and I brought the scalloped ones from the first seller. she does free postage and a free gift if you spend over £30 , but obviously as she only has the one se that wont apply.

I have emailed her and asked if I can wait to checkout untill the others come in (should be soon she ordered them last weds ) but I havent heard.
I am really gutted cause I have wanted both for ages and couldnt afford them.

serves me right for being impatient lololol:o

Congrats to the blog candy winner:j:j:j

Saveapenny - so sorry you're having such a carp time at the moment. It just shows you never really can tell can you?

I've had such a mad weekend I haven't had a chance to see blogs or think about crafting. I need to get organised with my RAKs - sorry to everyone who may be waiting! Also need to sort out Ikkie's and Alicia's cards too....

Saveapenny - that's awful :( She must have money to burn and time to waste. Surely once you upload your stuff to the net it's taken for granted that someone somewhere will one day copy it - that's partly why I upload my stuff - to show what I've been doing and hopefully someone would be inspired by it - I would be over the moon if they were. You would think she would be flattered that you thought it good enough to share... unless it's stuff she sells herself in which case she might be miffed she's losing money but if it's stuff that she's uploaded just to put out there - whats the problem. Sounds like you have a good solicitor anyway :)

My brilliany DF has brought me home a great gift this morning.
He was telling his mate at work how i've started making cards and funnily enough his mate's wife has been doing it for years, so she has sent me about 20 CD's full of images for me to keep. How nice was that. I havent looked at them yet as i cant get into the office cos DF is sleeping after doing a night shift, but im itching to see whats on there.

His mate's wife makes cards for the local childrens hospice and sells them on to raise funds.

Is there a particular paper or card i should be using with my promarkers i was colouring in some digi stamps last night and there was a lot of bleeding around the edges even though i was being super careful.

  • Hi everyone. Have not posted on this section before but have been doing lots of reading and getting loads of ideas. I'm looking for some celtic and Irish stamps ( like Irish dancers, Irish dance shoes and Irish / Gaelic phrases and a claddagh design) and have found some celtic stamps but looking for a few more ( can never have enough !). Most of the great stamps I can find are on American sites and I'm unsure about ordering due to the extra postal charges ( is it import duty?). Does anyone order craft things from overseas or have any ideas of suppliers of these things in the UK?
    Thanks :)
Life's too short for wasting on ifs and might have beens...........

I've ordered quite a bit of craft stuff from America and not been hit by import duty... yet. I did order a pair of boots a few years ago from over there and that DID get hit (around £60!!!!) But they were a lot heavier than craft stuff. I've also won craft bits from America and that's not been hit either so well worth entering those overseas blog candies ;)
