  • All this talk of nesting circles. Like i mentioned before I have the woodware 3.5 inch scallop circle and the 3 inch circle. I would like the 1 inch circle [found one] and the 1.5 inch scallop circle. But i cant find 1.5 inch scallop punch!!!! Anyone?

I've got large circles and large scallop circles and the scallop ones are bigger than the plain ones so you can either have just a frilly bit round the edge or a bigger gap - just to confuse you further there are classic scallop circles and petite ones (these have smaller scallops ifykwim)

Hi Nannyboo - you must be very close to me as I'm in North Lincs as well :D

    Have pm'd you I think

I know there are lots of crafters about I just wish some of my friends were interested in crafting so I could share my addiction with someone else.

    Hi nannyboo

Mel, love the idea of a Halloween challenge, I've never made a Halloween card before but quite fancy giving it a go :D When will the challenge start? This week or next?

Welcome to the thread nannyboo looking forward to getting to know you and admiring your creations :)

I know what you mean about paperwork!! I was a childminder for 15 years eek! gave it up about 6 years ago when things started changing, all those OFSTED visits grrrr. I'm not too far away from you either (Doncaster):hello:

You left then as I came into it (with all the paperwork I sometimes wish I hadn't lol)

Not far away then I am trying to work out whether I should go to the craft show there soon or if it is going to be lethal lol

nannyboo I dont know what the Stampin up show will be like at the Dome, I cant find out which companies are going to be there other than Craftworks Cards (lots of us on the forum buy our cards etc from there) I'm going with a friend so will just treat it as a day out and buy what I fancy when I see it :) I would love to go to the NEC with the gang but I'm going to see my son instead :j

    Happy birthday Saveapenny :j :j
    A little late, but I hope you've had a lovely day. :)

Rusty - at least OH has his job now to pay for all these repairs! It sounds like that's the only bit of luck you've had for a while.

Melissa - that's a great challenge idea! I picked up some monster stickers from poundland the other day, they'll be perfect for it. :)

Welcome to the least MSE thread on MSE nannyboo. :hello:

salesadmin - looks like I was just too late for the draw. Never mind. :)

Sally - I think we've all been there at some point. It sounds very unfair to put that kind of pressure on parents; that really is an extortionate amount for a college trip. Could they not have organised some sort of fundraising to cover most of the costs?

    Congratulations bunbun!

Flourgirl - your timing was perfect with your Halloween card, you can enter it for Melissa's challenge. ;)

I had my first appt at the job centre today; I've gone from being a student to unemployed. :( Time to dust off the CV and try to spend more time online filling out application forms!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
